Dead Space is a 2023 survival horror game developed by Motive Studio and published by Electronic Arts. A remake of the 2008 game of the same name developed by EA Redwood Shores, it was released on January 27, 2023, for PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S. It is the first release in the Dead Space series since 2013's Dead Space 3.

After security level 2 clearance was lifted early in Chapter 4, after beating the Brute. I backtracked to the shuttle and went back to the Emergency ward to get the Line Gun. It only takes a little over or maybe less than 5 minutes to find it if you know where you're going. It's worth going back to get the Linegun at this point because it's easier than in Chapter 5 when you have to face the regenerating necromorph in that same area.

Still looks (so far) that plasma cutter and pulse rifle are the primary weapons to go with. I used to focus on upgrading them and would throw a few upgrades into the ripper as well as my back up weapon.

Loving this series, I like how they've incorporated more of the Dead Space universe lore into the game. Security Chief Vincent was a character in the animated Dead Space: Downfall movie. Hopefully we see more.
