The game is respectfully more realistic than most shooters out there with how they put everything together and how they work. Not only do you reload clips, but you section off parts of a reload. You can have the clip ejected, but be interrupted before putting the magazine in. Get hit again, but you didn't pull the pin back. You have damage to each limb, as well as enemies, like shooting off the automotons' guns, legs, etc.

For those of you who are REALLY enjoying this game - Give DEEP ROCK GALACTIC a try - available on Windows, Xbox, and PlayStation. This is another co-op FPS that has EXTREME similarities with HELLDIVERS 2 but with dwarves in space. You are a dwarf miner who is employed by Deep Rock Galactic, or DRG, with corporate themes and propaganda similar to Super Earth's propaganda theme. Your company is currently mining the alien plan Hoxxes IV. You hover above the planet in the Space Rig, and are shot down into the planet via a space mining drop pod, that mines through the crust into CAVE SYSTEMS. As you complete mission objectives, such as elimination, mining expeditions, escort missions and rescue operations you will come across alien-like beings very similar to the Terminids, small and large. You will also come across "rival tech," or rival technology, similar to the automatons. You will collect rare minerals such as HELLDIVERS 2 has sample collecting. You can customize your weapons for fascinating builds and there are four classes - Gunner, Scout, Driller, and Engineer. Each class has it's own way of traversing the cave systems, and there are many beautiful cave biomes with lush scenery, different plants and organisms, and amazing music.
