Tbh I don't think they are moving from this console for awhile. Even now they are saying there's constraints and things to figure. They said late 2027-28 but I don't see them making it until they make a new gap in the hardware which I really don't think will happen until 2030. Keep in mind this video is from 2 years ago.

PS4 players who never owned a PS3 have no fucking clue what a good library of games looks like so they didn't even bat an eye when the PS5 was announced. People mocked the PS3's launch when it had a lot of games come out for it later on. After Halo and Gears were pretty much dead due to Halo and Gears 4, people made a switch to the PS4 when they finally realized Xbox had like 4 good franchises total. The hypocrites then ended up buying the horrid PS5 on launch for egregious prices only for it to be a glorified updated PS4.

Idk how reviews get to the point where they complain about a goddamn sequel to a game having pretty much the same style going it doesn’t make sense to me it’s a sequel idk what they were looking for something brand new that was completely different or something it’s supposed to be very similar but the next chapter in the series, if it’s done right I don’t mind at all the devs doing damn near the same thing once again it’s why I wanted a sequel to that game is for continuation of that title.

I think the time has come where game development takes so long that the real "Next-gen" games are only actually released at pretty much the end of a console's lifecycle.
In other words, most games that launch on the PS6 were essentially developed with the PS5 in mind, and so on.
Sony would already have to provide developers with a PS6 dev kit today to ensure games are ready by the release day.

I owned PSP, PS3 and PS4, I was planning to get my hands on the PS5 back in 2021 but due to high demand and fcking scalpers the price rose almost 40%-50% in my country.
I knew I have to wait for the market to stabilize, however while waiting I was expecting more "new" games to come but was little bit disappointed because there's only few and some of em were released on PC which is great ngl because I have mid range PC as well.
I've always a fan of portable console that you can carry anywhere so I looked up elsewhere, I'm not a fan of Nintendo but their NS Lite piqued my interest, it's pure portable it's lightweight and has tons of games, so I told to myself why not try? I bought NS lite and ngl it's my most played console since 2021.
