Hogwarts Legacy is an action role-playing game in which players are able to attend classes at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Locations from the Wizarding World franchise will be explorable such as the Forbidden Forest, Diagon Alley, and Hogsmeade. During character creation the player is able to choose their appearance, house, and gender. Players will be able to customize their character's voice, body type and add accessories such as glasses in character creation. Level progression will allow the player to access and upgrade different spells, talents, and abilities.
Hogwarts Legacy is set in the 1890s and follows a student starting at Hogwarts in the fifth year. As the player is starting at the school later than other students, a wizards field guide is given by the Ministry of Magic. Completing sections of this guide through exploration provides additional information and experience points. The player character, who holds the key to an "ancient secret that threatens to tear the wizarding world apart", is capable of manipulating a mysterious ancient magic, and will need to help uncover why this forgotten magic has suddenly made a resurgence and the ones that are simultaneously trying to harness it.

This game is horrendous if you have arachnophobia. I have been avoiding some of the quests that involve the big ones...ngl I'm cursing the entire time while running around to avoid the spiders. Partially waiting until I get avada before going on those quests

Okay I finally found why this game feels empty even though it’s very filled. I think it’s the lack of music. Music was very prominent in Harry Potter, and even though the voice acting in this game is GREAT, it’s lacking an ambiance. Also some life in the castle or at least some story tied to friends. Yes several characters were introduced but I wish there was more to speak of with them, or to learn about them. Maybe because Harry Potter is so focused on friendship so that’s what I was expecting? The game seems really cool but also unfinished on several fronts, like that weird mute scene in the last episode.

I love that the game is adaptive because I did this mission when I was lvl 18 ( I love doing side quests and exploring ) and all my enemies were levels were 13-17. Also love you Brad been watching you since 2011

When I got to this mission (beginning of the video) I already had like 139 defense and 126 offense... I always use the best gear I find, and sell what I don't use anymore to buy more from the shop. The gear you have on here is like... Outgrown by level 2 or 3. Maybe this is why I've never died and other people do O.O
Edit: Just realised you're only level 9. I was already level 14 when I started this mission. I guess you just didn't do a lot of exploring and side quests. But I'm only at 9 hours played and now I'm level 15 and did this quest today.

This game is so built for exploration I did this dungeon quest at lvl 30. As I just went out into the world and explored. The game scales enemy to ensure your challenged no matter what lvl you are.
