I know I'm kinda late to the party, but the shotgun our protagonist uses, the KS-23? It's actually a police carbine! The soviets basically went "well we need a riot gun, and we have a bunch of unused airplane autocannon barrels, HMMM" and thus this adorable monstrosity was concieved. It was made for firing rubber bullets, flak rounds and various rifle grenade types, and it's chambered in 23 mm. I dunno why I decided to write this, just thought it was kinda neat.
