Hogwarts Legacy is an action role-playing game in which players are able to attend classes at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Locations from the Wizarding World franchise will be explorable such as the Forbidden Forest, Diagon Alley, and Hogsmeade. During character creation the player is able to choose their appearance, house, and gender. Players will be able to customize their character's voice, body type and add accessories such as glasses in character creation. Level progression will allow the player to access and upgrade different spells, talents, and abilities.
Hogwarts Legacy is set in the 1890s and follows a student starting at Hogwarts in the fifth year. As the player is starting at the school later than other students, a wizards field guide is given by the Ministry of Magic. Completing sections of this guide through exploration provides additional information and experience points. The player character, who holds the key to an "ancient secret that threatens to tear the wizarding world apart", is capable of manipulating a mysterious ancient magic, and will need to help uncover why this forgotten magic has suddenly made a resurgence and the ones that are simultaneously trying to harness it.

It was weird. This was the final mission, but then it's not until you are level 34. you do the house cup and you get the end credits. So it almost feels like two endings.

This game might be considered a good game considering the developer never worked on a game with this scope. However, I do not think this is a good Harry Potter related game or a game set in a school. The main problem is that you barely spend any time in or near Hogwarts. Any time you are not in Hogwarts, the game feels very generic. Also, since this is an open world game, it does not feel like you are going to school, since you can go to class whenever you want if at all. Also, only the first class acts like a class, while the rest of the time is just a short cutscene. Hopefully, they will do better in a sequel.

You mentioned that this game seemed really quick but you literally sped through it 🥲 Usually you explore a lot more in your games but not this one, this was like speed round “get the game done as fast as possible” 😂 which made you barely scratch the surface of the game and the story tho, soooo much more happens and is learned. Like you probably played 2/10 of what the game offers. I really hope you try to replay it (slowly) on your own so that you get to truly experience the magic of this game! 🥰

Now that I finally watched a game to the end… I have never noticed a “Trophies Review”. — While personally I am most interested in Hogwarts… I was wondering if it was possible to maybe do a Trophy review for the top 5 games.
With the game play I have watched , I was just curious what Trophies you may have completed with the game play we have seen. So many games have Hidden trophies or rare ones and watching you dedicate time to game play, it would be nice to see trophy progress.

im sad you missed the sidequests and all the good spells like confringo and depulso and avada kedavra or crucio, flippendo, decendo, imperio and arresto momentum, and you totally missed the use of herbology, like chopping cabbage is hella usefull against trolls etc, and make potions in the room of recuirement so you don't have to buy 3 potions max at a time. and to use the loom and costuom your gear to get stronger, and you missed the broom upgrade. you just ran through the entire game half cocked😂 its so much easier to play the storyline when you have the right tools

There's so much more to do. All the quests... all the achievements. It would have been nice if you had done the story more fully. Not just rush through to the final boss. But, great game.
