Here is something for you dude since you were talking about RE 2. Capcom seemed to prioritize gameplay experience over story continuity. In the original Resident Evil 2, Claire's A scenario and Leon's B scenario were seen as canon because Sherry gets infected in them, and this infection is confirmed in Resident Evil 6.

Hope this reaches you fam. The trick to the razor blade hoes, you knife one of them the other won't be alert to it. This can really faster way to take them out especially if your knife is maxed out
