Not a Muslim but how do you explain the impact of Muhammad?
@rekaadang Says:
Guys please pray for an Indonesian guy, Muhammad Kace, who turned from Islam to Christian and right now being put in prison. He's being bullied rigth now, physically, mentally, economically, digitally, socially, you name it. Please pray that he put his faith in Christ and nothing else, and God's name is glorified trough him.
@nothingbutthetruth613 Says:
You do know according to this logic, the fact that Mohamed has almost as many people as jesus who follow him that he must be authentic too. That of course is not possible though since they are contradictory religions so that automatically debunks your whole idea. Oh well
@hansdemos6510 Says:
The "inauguration of the Common era" could only be said to be significant if it had happened at Jesus' birth. Not centuries afterwards, when his followers had already gained political dominance in the area where this system for keeping time was used.
@bobbyraejohnson Says:
People who don't believe in jesus don't realize how much they benefit from his sacrifice and principles he left on this world.

God bless you, guys, for your ministry. I'm learning a lot from all of you.

//This is a ground breaking book, not just in apologetics, but also in theology ...//
I think Frank will find that historians, sociologists, theologians, and others have already acknowledged the huge impact Jesus (and Paul and Christianity) has had on the world. I remember reading about this some 26 years ago.
So has JWW actually discovered anything new which is going to shake the world? Or has he read other books and has rewritten what's already known for the sake of his own followers so that they can learn this stuff?
Because I suspect that most of Frank's and Jim's followers live in a Christian bubble, I reckon it's the latter, and thus Frank's words are little more than hubris.

And this person of interest has great interest in us. So much so that he died on a cross 2000 years ago so that we can have fellowship with him. What a good God we serve and his love is never ending.

Haven't heard of this author before. Thanks for introducing us to him. I really haven't read much books besides the bible lately but if there is a good christian read I'm down with it. Btw Jesus is Lord!!!

There is NOBODY like Jesus. He is the way the truth and the life and the name above all names.

Wallace assumes the gospels are eyewitness accounts.
They are not. They are anonymous writings written decades later.

It's waiting at home for this trucker when I get there. Really looking forward to it!
@kurtgundy Says:
It requires people to seek an explanation. Because all the non-Christian alternative explanations require more faith (even blind faith) than the historic Christian explanation: Jesus is who he claimed to be, and who the scriptures claim he is: God the Son incarnate.

Just picked it up today from my local Christian book store. Just curious. Should I still get his book Cold Case Christianity? Or is this kind of an update of that?
@stephentruett Says:
There's no need to say "Common Era". Secularists started using it in place of AD to take away prominence from Christ, so I doubt it's a good idea for Christians to be using that term.

Buy one of Frank's t-shirts mocking anyone who doesn't share his belief.

This won't sit well with people who use the excuse that there's no evidence for Jesus or God so I'm sure they'll create some reasons to dismiss it. For the rest of us, it sounds like a good read.
