I played Pikmin 3 Deluxe after playing Pikmin 4 (first Pikmin game), and it made me realize how amazing the new mechanics of Pikmin 4 are. Oatchi is a HUGE game changer for overall pacing and consolidation of gameplay. The Pikmin are “smarter” in Pikmin 4 in some ways (staying by the finishing location once they’re done carrying material stacks, better pathing around hazards, quicker response times, etc.). Also, I really am appreciating the segment-type levels in the pipes more — it’s a great break from the open worlds which can really pull your attention all over the place, so it’s nice to have areas with one clear cut goal.
Such a wonderful game. Both are great, but Pikmin 4 really is incredible

Pikmin is indie game made with AAA millions. Too much creativity. Honestly there is no other game like this. The biggest drawback of the game is that from the surface level game really looks unappealing. If Nintendo brand were not attached to it, nobody would buy this.

I dint think the gane innovated much but definitely perfected
But I do wish they made it so you could have 200 pikmen and tailor the game to that size enemies, objectives etc

I complained about the Pikmin charge whistle being purchasable now, and not being able to move the crowd of Pikmin while standing still. But the game is definitely still worth it. I think I like 3 more tho. Being able to throw a commander and making juice was amazing
