Worst parts for me is that 1. You can’t have all pickmin types out which I understand but I wish there was a way to all of the little guys with me 2. How fucking boring the onion is one of my favourite parts of pickmin are the onions I like the 1 and 2 onions and pickmin three onions are actually impeccable so I was hoping for the same style but no they’re just boring like come on imagine how cool it would be to see the eight pickmin colours swirling around

I played Pikmin 3 Deluxe after playing Pikmin 4 (first Pikmin game), and it made me realize how amazing the new mechanics of Pikmin 4 are. Oatchi is a HUGE game changer for overall pacing and consolidation of gameplay. The Pikmin are “smarter” in Pikmin 4 in some ways (staying by the finishing location once they’re done carrying material stacks, better pathing around hazards, quicker response times, etc.). Also, I really am appreciating the segment-type levels in the pipes more — it’s a great break from the open worlds which can really pull your attention all over the place, so it’s nice to have areas with one clear cut goal.
Such a wonderful game. Both are great, but Pikmin 4 really is incredible

I dint think the gane innovated much but definitely perfected
But I do wish they made it so you could have 200 pikmen and tailor the game to that size enemies, objectives etc
