Christian apologetics need to move away from trying to justify itself with shaky science. It is not wise to ground our truth on the speculative "scientific theories".

We can see a galaxy thirteen billion light years away, then look the opposite direction and see another galaxy thirteen billion light years away, they're twenty-six billion light years apart, both points cannot be one hundred million light years from the original singularity!

Space is fake. That is why its always represented through cartoons. The earth is level and motionless. Water doesn't curve around a globe and all of your senses tell you that you are motionless, not flying through "space" at millions of mph.

There is zero credible evidence for the big bang. Even if there was, that evidence would be that there was an explosion that spit out galaxies. You cannot prove this bang is the beginning of the universe. So, the Big Bang is not a theory, but a lie.
@watersabove.below7 Says:
Big Bang comes out on top only because they are able to trick people with all their CGI. Biblical cosmology is grounded on scientific evidence and the big bang is all demonic pseudoscience. I love Frank but I'm afraid of his popularity he won't touch evidence based biblical cosmology.

The big bang debunks itself. Nothing exploded and created everything. There couldn't be a more ignorant theory of how everything was created.

The telescope doesn't prove there was a beginning. What it proves, is that what is considered scientific fact & allowed to be taught as such in schools is wrong. The big bang has just as much evidence going for it as abiogenesis & evolution, which is none

I like people standing up for Christianity. I don't think anyone should stand up for The Big Bang Cosmology, no matter what your worldview. Christians should not ever stand up for The Big Bang. 1. It isn't Biblical. 2. It isn't supported by physics. 3. Everyone who explains it knows they are full of hot air and will pop at any time. That's the only noise the big bang cosmology will ever make. The Surge argument can be reduced to an unexploded bomb Dud . . . Ssssssssss . . .!!!!

@jkleylein Says:
The Big Bang theory is nonsense and always was. It's the result of making an observation, and then making a few assumptions (one or two of which are metaphysical) and then following the logic until it hits a wall and then describing what the wall must look like if it existed.
@drumrnva Says:
So the universe had a beginning. Got it.

God's big bang. KJV Psalms 33:9-10 9 For he spake, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast. 10 The LORD bringeth the counsel of the heathen to nought: he maketh the devices of the people of none effect.
@oscargr_ Says:
The cosmological argument has far more to do with philosophy than with cosmology. Nobody who works on the big bang theory claims to know it proves the universe had a beginning. Only William Craig does that.

It is sad Frank Turek appeals to Bill Craig rather than what the Bible says. Craig rejects most of what Genesis 1-11 says. He has given Man authority over God by forcing "the science" into scripture. No Big Bang does not come out on top. God's word says let there be light and it happened. Just like when Jesus healed it happened instantly as He spoke the word. When God spoke it happened exactly when He spoke it. This is how powerful God is. Big Bang and evolution rejects this because man wants to be God. Man does not want to submit to an all-powerful being so it invents theories so they can justify whatever they want to. Including what man says about origins of life rather than what God says about origins of life.
@joshbeard9809 Says:
The Bible and science have debunked the big bang and evolution. You either believe in the authority of scripture and build your worldview off of it. Or you build it on man's word and reinterpret scripture based on what man says. When we compromise what Genesis 1-11 says then the next generation will question the rest of the Bible. This is why we see the moral collapse of marriage, gender, sanctity of life, and more. Genesis 1-11 is the foundation of the Bible. Because so many pastors and Christians have caved on the issue of creation, fall, sin, and death. It will cave on other issues we find in Genesis 1-11. Soon the Church everywhere will look just like the world.

Before creation there was God and angels. After creation there are god, angels, Universe and hell. After judgement day Jesus said saved humans will be like angels. So final outcome is: god, angels, usless Universe and hell full of sinners.... My question is why god even created humans when outcome is worse than state before creation.

A Galaxy is a KIND and in this Kind God created Variety. It's the same with everything he made.on Earth. There is the Human Kind but Many different races Dog Kind , Cat Kind etc. Just as No Kind EVOLVED on Earth but was Created then Why Assume the Galaxies Evolved and were not Created ? The Telescope Proved Galaxies Didn't Evolved.
@hansdemos6510 Says:
In principle, I think Dr. Turek is correct that the new developments in cosmology have added to our basic understanding of how our universe came to be the way it is now, but what he still fails to address is the way he misunderstands (or purposely muddles up) what the "big bang" actually is; it is a theory about the *_expansion_* of our universe, not about its *_origin._* Dr. Turek does this by talking about the *_"beginning"_* of the universe, which he then happily uses in either the scientific meaning of the expansion of our instantiation of spacetime, or his religiously useful meaning of origin, as his argument requires. I think this is the fallacy of equivocation, but whatever its official name, and whether he does it on purpose or not, he shouldn't be doing it, because it is misleading his audience.
@biblehistoryscience3530 Says:
Maybe time worked differently at the Beginning, so from our reference point, it only seems like those far away galaxies were formed too fast.
@monkeyfoot5377 Says:
He’s asking a question based on new evidence of 4 giant galaxies found at the very beginning of the Big Bang. The question in science is, how does a galaxy that large exist at the beginning of a new universe? So he’s asking Frank if that new evidence further disproves the Big Bang theory.
@avafury4584 Says:
At this point in time it needs more than an update. It needs an overhaul.
@somerandom3247 Says:
That's right, the big bang theory always comes out on top. The christian creation narrative is clearly wrong in comparison.

The implausibility of infinite regression alone points to space and time had a beginning. No scientific method needed.
@aeronblitz9347 Says:
The big bang belief of billions of years is wrong, and contrary to what the Bible teaches, to what GOD says how long it took HIM to make man in the universe. If we believe that redshift proves that the universe in billions of years old, then we are opposing what GOD says. The big bang model states that the earth was formed much much later than galaxies and stars, but that is not what GOD says in HIS Word. Genesis 1 is not a myth for GOD does not work that way, and the Gospel is tightly tied to the literal interpretation of Genesis.
@TheLumberJacked Says:
I actually think the Big Bang or as they call it, the standard model is unnecessary. 2 reasons. 1, the Big Bang is gravity centric and is composed of some magical thinking. A EM/Plasma model is more descriptive of what is seen. In fact it doesn’t require nearly as much magical thinking. 2) the Big Bang is a guess. Both Atheists and Christian’s seem to lean on it pretty hard. I don’t think the Big Bang is necessary because I don’t think a gravity centric model is the correct one. How the Universe came into being is nearly or very likely unanswerable. We simply don’t know everything or nearly enough to make that kind of a guess and so it seems unnecessary to hold on to because God could make the Universe come into being any way he wants. An “impossibly small, infinitely dense, infinitely hot singularity” is ironic. Infinitely dense, infinitely small, infinitely hot…infinity isn’t a number. Making it both tiny and impossibly dense makes no sense I get that the model requires it, but it’s a contrivance…it’s dividing by zero, getting zero and saying that represents infinity. This pervasive madness is threaded through black hole theory. Gravity is asked to do all the work in the standard model, yet the electromagnetic force is 10^60 more powerful than gravity yet is not considered as important enough. Bad math, bad theories, division by zero using tensor math (a no no) to extrapolate black holes. It’s all a bit much. Now the fact that atheists need the magical big bang as much as Christians is kinda funny.

Interesting how cosmology and Christian theology have sudden change and slow growth as recurring themes. The "Big Bang" followed by the physical world then later the Big Rising followed by a metaphysical hope.
