Yo I won’t even lie, I’m playing Allan wake 2 first and damn bruh I’m in love so far. Totally different game but same story. I don’t think I’ll play the first one, the second one came to ps plus so I’m playing it through there. I definitely recommend it to anyone who has or hasn’t played the first one

I have played through Alan Wake 2 twice to try and like it. It is garbage compared to this. Sure, the visuals are gorgeous, which is to be expected 14yrs later but the story completely abandons Alan and focuses almost exclusively on Saga and her family, a character originally meant to be a white side character until Sweet Baby Inc was consulted. The Mind Place/Writers Room completely destroys pacing and ruins immersion as well. Alan Wake 1 is a thousand time better than AW2 as a story and atmosphere.

I gather "stucky" is his represented as his writers block weilding an axe that is their desire to chop out the next book, alan wake keeps comparing king references because he fears he won't create something just a good. this whole game is alan running through his story ideas inside the doc hartmans office. a total mental scare.
