Horizon Forbidden West is an action role-playing video game developed by Guerrilla Games and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Set to release on February 18, 2022. A sequel to 2017's Horizon Zero Dawn, it features an open world in a post-apocalyptic western United States. Players must travel and complete missions with survival skills and both melee and long-distance weapons in a world overrun by machines creatures.
Characters in Horizon Forbidden West include: Aloy, Avad, Erend, GAIA, Marad, Petra Forgewoman, Sylens, Talanah Khane Padish, Uthid, Vanasha, Varl, Alva, Hekarro, Kotallo, Regalla, Tilda and Vuadis Zo.
Horizon Forbidden West continues the story of Aloy, a young huntress of the Nora tribe sent on a quest to the arcane frontier known as the Forbidden West to find the source of a mysterious plague that kills all it infects. On her journey across these uncharted lands, Aloy encounters hostile regions ravaged by massive storms and occupied by dangerous enemies and deadly machines. She also discovers a vast array of environments and ecosystems, including lush valleys, dry deserts, snowy mountains, tropical beaches and ruined cities, both above and below the water.
The PlayStation 5 version of the game will take advantage of the console's increased processing power, custom solid state drive storage, Tempest Engine and DualSense controller to support features such as advanced haptic feedback, 3D spatial audio and reduced loading times. The game will also feature an updated version of the Decima engine.
So I'm gonna try to have more of this up tomorrow but Elden Ring drops and I will be covering that first thing tomorrow. I have more Horizon and will finish it just want to check out this game! Appreciate the love fam

Hey Brad :) this might be kind of an old video now. I first found your channel back in Horizon Zero Dawn and have watched a few series along the way, very glad to finally be able to watch Forbidden West with you too. Just wanted to give a quick feedback, that Alloy is a very soft spoken character, and having to turn up the volume in order to hear her makes your voice a tad bit too loud. So maybe (idk if this is an issue with this game only) you leveling your voice closer to the game volume would be a nicer experience since there's so much dialogue :) thank you so much for the content, your videos are great!

Brad, you never have to skip dialog, and this game breathes immersion. The game allows you to play it safe, unlike Elden Ring, so I agree it is much easier.

Has to be the best looking game ever. I too enjoy watching it late at night. I'm surprised the game companies allow us to watch them for free from start to finish for I find that buying them isn't really worth it after I've watched a whole game like watching a rerun though OK to do a year or so later on really good ones like this so I'll get it when it's on PC. FF7 on PC is what I'm getting really soon even though I watched it Brad play a few years ago. I'm hoping part 2 comes out this Summer or maybe in Sept or Oct of that series is due out for I'm just going to get it to play without watching Brad play it.
