This is one of the few films it seems that doesn't tell a story really. It utilizes film as an art form for its visuals and concepts rather then a tale of action and drama.

Unironically this has actually helped me a LOT with the essay I need to write on Playtime for my film class. Thanks heaps.
@capnceem Says:
Dunkti is serious here but out of all his videos this one has the most jokes because he is playing clips of this movie in the background
@Phuqr Says:
Finally watched playtime. While fun, didn't seem a comedic masterpiece to me personally.

Remind of that one book I almost stopped reading through at some point, still finished (Can’t recall the name of the book or the author) The gist is next, you are pulled though a number of events that are completely obvious to every other character, including the protagonist, though you - an outsider (reader), have no freaking clue to what’s actually happening Freakish things start other freakish things and end some normal things and that flow ends at some point leaving you an alien trying to get a taste of our life..
@General_P2001 Says:
I think in a way Playtime and Dunkey's way of youtubing are two sides of the same coin with the subtlety, comedy, and just a mastahpeece all around
@ardianworld777 Says:
Love it! The restaurant scene with the funky jazz music is amazing! Wish we have parties like that
@CSorgini Says:
what is the music in the beginning

Miyamoto once stated in an interview that, when Wolf says "Playtime's over, Star Fox", it's actually because he was watching this movie on DVD.

Just got round to watching it... I kind of liked it I guess. Visually impressive and experimental yes and I laughed a few times. But really it is kind of dull for me

I can't help but revist this video again and again and again. I still haven't even watched the movie yet but I must've watched this video at least once or twice a year.
@Bobbytree-rt3nt Says:
It's got the same energy as the movie Airplane just more withdrawn. Which I like, they are both very good and similar yet different. Always something happening in the background, its so fun
@CandidaRosa889 Says:
When you google this movie the only pictures you see is of the cubicles in the beginning of the movie which is really a shame because the rest of the movie has much prettier locations that aren't so drab
@incognito4582 Says:

This is one of the best depictions of the term “Kafkaesque” in film
@Kedluck Says:
Watched this with my family. Everyone laughed at times, but my sister went to bed 20 minutes before the end, and when it was over, my mom, half joking, said "That was the worst movie I've ever seen." While I definitely overhyped myself for this movie because of how good Dunkey presented it, It can get really boring. However, Overall I loved it in a way, and I'd rather have watched it than not. I believe it's an incredibly unique film that I'm not sure I'll ever forget.
@cobrac4t34 Says:
Absolutely brilliant synopsis. I've seen this film twice, still so much I missed!
@5-Cell Says:
yo it took me 3 mins and 9 seconds to realize he wasnt every going to be talking about the issue of overinflated playtimes in modern videogames where they just extend it out so long it takes 2 billion years to finish and it truly wasnt worth it
