If you want to apply the context menu registry hack shown in this video, you can download the text file I showed in the video here: https://www.explainingcomputers.com/sample_code/Win11_Context_Menu_Fix.txt And here is what it says: --- WINDOWS 11 CONTEXT MENU REGISTRY FIX Open the registry editor (eg by pressing Windows + "R" and entering regedit) Navigate to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes Right-click CLSID and select "Key"from the menu to create a new key. Name this key {86ca1aa0-34aa-4e8b-a509-50c905bae2a2} Right click the new key and select "Key" from the menu to create a second new key inside the first, and name this InprocServer32 Expand InprocServer32 and double-click on "Default" in the right-hand pane. In the resultant "Edit String" window, do not change anything and just click on "OK". Close the registry editor and reboot. --- More videos on computing and related topics can be found at http://www.youtube.com/explainingcomputers You may also like my ExplainingTheFuture channel at: http://www.youtube.com/explainingthefuture Chapters: 00:00 Introduction 00:39 Scaling 02:48 Taskbar 04:41 Ads & Privacy 07:59 Fast Shutdown 11:06 Taskbar Size 14:38 Context Menu 17:30 Wrap #Windows11 #Settings #Registry #ExplainingComputers

So, my update of the Windows 11 activated pro version 23H2 is installed on my 12 year old Acer Aspire 5750G laptop and was digitally activated using the Windows 10 serial that I had. Currently, it's conducting and installing necessary upgrades 😂. There is absolutely no difference in performance, and it's working normally. Quite incredible to be honest, I'm happy as Larry. Laptop specs are, Acer Aspire 5750G running i5-2450M 2.5GHz with turbo boost to 3.1GHz, 750GB HHD, 8GB DDR3 memory, it's nothing special by today's standards but when I bought it 12 years ago it was of good specification and it wasn't cheap!!

Im going to bite the bullet and install Win 11 on my Acer Aspire 5750g, which is currently 12 years old. I have the latest Win 10 22H2, so it'll be interesting to see how it goes 😂

Someone should turn the registry hacks into a bat file so you don't have to go through the entire process.

Thanks so much Chris, this is a great informative video.. After about 10 years of no Windows usage, I decided to install Win11 on my now antiquated Intel Mac mini.. Installation was a real breeze, performance wise Win11 beats MacOS in all aspects..truly amazing.. The only issue I have now that Bluetooth is not working because of unavailable driver..?? Thanks again Chris, a Happy New Year to you..

Microsoft and OUTLOOK have invaded my private email storage with ads ads and even more ads... I'm not just speaking of the daily emails, I'm speaking of my email storage on OUTLOOK.... ALL and I do mean ALL of my saved emails, from doctors, banking, friends, etc., have been infiltrated by microsoft and ads.... not only that, they have manipulated the emails so that you not only CAN'T block them, they've manipulated it to where you can't delete them....and then they want me to pay them ? Eff that. To me, this is akin to buying a car outright and then being held hostage by the manufacturer until you pay them more... and that's exactly what they want, more money from extortion, plain and simple.

@shadowbanned4606 Says:

@Lightwaves7984 Says:
I found that the copy option and the other stuff that's under "show more options" are actually right at the top of the menu. They changed it to icons but you can use things like copy without having to open the show more options tab. It's right at the top along with cut, delete, etc. And the other stuff is just on the first menu. Well, almost everything.
