Okay, I think I can answer the questions. Apart from the remake. The game company has released a trailer for Resident Evil Dead Island animated movie.
As for the Resident Evil, animated movies on Netflix might be connected to the games. I've only seen the Vendetta one, but it's absolutely action-packed and magnificent. I only watched a little of the TV show but yet to watch the other movies.
