In PSVR2 the rifle is useless, so difficult to load and use it. By the time I load cartridges in it, I am dead. They had better weapons in RE 8.

Hmm for some reason I just don't feel the remake Mendez's transformation as impressive as I thought it was back in the day. In the original it was a lot more menacing and gave me the biggest "oh shit" moment that I can remember with the slower revelation of the beginning of his transformation. Oh well minor nitpicking, the remake version here is still awesome to see!

I played the original RE4 back when it first came out, and I remember having an EXTREMELY difficult time fighting Mendez the very first time. Took me well over 20 tries. It's one of my most distinct Resident Evil memories, along with parrying thrown farming equipment on a gondola.
I'm actually playing the RE4 Remake for the first time while watching this series, though I'm making sure to stay a few chapters ahead so I'm not spoiled. I think Chapter 10 is what I'm on as of this video. While my memory of the original is a bit fuzzy, the castle is so much better now, and they really made the Ashley part more interesting.
