You may think that the "tide is turning" but it ain't. Its just going into remission from the public view. All the policy and law changes that have come about because of wokeness will still be there. As a German, i feel safe to say that the big majority in Germany has now turned against Wokeness. Wokeness seems stronger than it is in German, because the dominating german media tends to be liberal-left (Spiegel, TAZ, ARD, Funk...) and woke politics are enforced by leading political parties (especially the green party). But the last elections were extremely bad for the green party. Even young voters turned against the green party. That was a big disappointment for the green party, because they counted especially on the youth. Also i would say that nowadays middle-right politicians from the "christian democratic union/CDU" or the "free democratic party/FDP" are less afraid to criticize wokeness openly .

It may be 2 to 1 but sometimes the 1 is the one holding the cards. Example, I was recently having an operation, the NHS has known for 40 odd years that I am a male. I was handed a form and a mandatory question was am I pregnant. I was told unless I answered I couldnt have the operation. Two nurses admitted it was BS, I agreed but neither of us held any power. The NHS with all their medical expertise was seemingly also unable to push back on the Govt. making them ask a question that is a medical impossibility. Answer is, a radical change in govt is required, not tory, (and obvsnot labour)...but a proper right wing Govt. (Thatcher style) is needed otherwise the slippery slope is only going to get steeper. A govt. that starts making the division between protest and intimidation, rioting and harassment, trespass etc clear. Whether we like it or not every single woke ideology taken to the streets in this violent and unruly way ends up slipping into law sooner or later and society is further leaning towards unstable, illogical and minority views to the detriment of the masses. The intolerance of the woke mob and pursuit of marxist ideas is a real danger to freedom.
