Such an important and chilling essay. In microcosm I was lectured to by my teenage granddaughter recently about how we are destroying the world and what should be done about it. I asked what she personally was doing about it apart from talk. Nothing of course. So I asked her to give me her iPhone as a tangible gesture of her sincerity. Guess what? It’s always someone else’s place to do something about these things it seems. Thank you for framing this in terms that we can use to push back. I’m now 70 and won’t be affected by the tyranny of the WEF etc, but I will never stop pushing back on behalf of my children and grandchildren.

What's actually true, is that many other investments should be banned, for example funding war, as we in global terms, spend absurd amounts of our valuable income for the manufacture of lethal weapons, of all kinds, even those that without a doubt actually destroy massive amounts of territory or that could even destroy everything, I'm talking about the fucked up, criminal, anti-God, anti-humanity, anti-progress-weapons of mass destruction. The investment on climate is so miniscule almost non existant compared to the investment on war. People ain't gotta spend equaly $25,000 to save the world, the industries should pay the billions or trillions needed (and owed) to the preservation of the climate, to its wonders, to its beings currently getting murdered by the industry and its obscene desire of ownership and slavery. That destruction increases, with unfortunate increased pace as we speak. One last thing, your comments on globalization reflects itself when you try to apply a single solution to the whole world as if your industrial capitalistic utopia could be built by disregarding the differences between the poor and the privileged. It would be stupid to think that north korea wouldn't benefit from capitalism just as it is delusional and blindly immature, as well as stupidly irrational and unconsiously evil to think that the west wouldn't benefit from socialism.
