You know, I was just having a conversation today about belief in God. Many in our culture would say, "I don't believe in God. Religion is a bad influence. I don't believe in Jesus." You know, that in my mind is just a cope out. Why? Because, it's really not only about the historical Jesus. The question is: What does the Bible say about God, and what does the Bible say about life. The atheistic "easy-believism" is a cope out. It rejects the deeper questions that the Bible and religion present, and simply says, "That too confusing. People don't understand what you're talking about." No it's not, and YES THEY DO.
The atheistic liberalism of today wants to do our thinking for us. It is an attack on men. And women. If men don't want to think, then they also will not want to do much of anything- work, take ownership of their time, invest in relationships, ect. Men really are struggling. And what goes unmentioned? God. Purpose. He doesn't believe in anything. Maybe he tried at one point, but life caught up with him. Jesus' words have a way of getting at the heart, don't they?
The "wokeism" at first may have seemed weird and revolutionary, but it really isn't funny anymore (if it ever was). I appreciate the enthusiasm, ma'am, I appreciate your candor, sir, but that simply is not true. At the end of the day, the culture screaming at us that something is true is no replacement for the still, small voice inside of every man, and women, telling them what truly matters.
Until men begin to wrestle with the deeper questions of life, they will eventually burn out, as I did in my life. The irony for me, was that I had a relationship with God. I was not however, nurturing my faith, and bringing it to bear on my life. Because I was not "practicing the presence of God," as Brother Lawrence writes in his classic book, my prayer life was impoverished, and I was out of step. God does not like when we are living with one foot in the world and one foot in his kingdom. Luckily, He got my attention.
In the Gospels, John the Baptist is described as a "sober man," who had not tasted wine. God rewarded his dedication. He had the focus and faith to recognize the Messiah, and herald his coming. We need some Johns in our world today. We need men who will take a stand not just for facts, but for truth. Men who understand that it is not just what happens to you, but how you react. Men who are focused on character, not just credentials. Those are the type of men who change the world.

I’ve been watching Josh going after crooked leftists in Washington DC. I always felt he seemed to be an authentic guy who was doing more than spouting conservative talking points. Gentrification, mass incarceration of mostly black men and women. unjust and unfair life sentences for petty crimes. Eugenics, the Tuskegee experiments on black men, in the hope of spreading syphilis ( which was fatal without treatment) through out the black community. Segregation. Black people weren't even allowed to own property nor business. Black people weren't even allowed to vote for a long while.
Black people got poorer and poorer. Some resisted fought back. But leaders peaceful or militant were assassinated by the government.
The white racist supremist elites and the government created an systemic racist infrastructure of absolute power. Increasing and insuring their wealth and power will never be over taken.
