I finally got all 3 endings and I really liked this game. The game doesn't play like dark souls games, but its not dark souls. I feel like that would be like complaining that there arent Titans in the Star Wars games that Respawn made. I also liked how the different playthrough made it worthwhile to actually play the game more than once by giving you different experiences, especially the third one. I usually never care to do that in games but this one had me hooked. I also liked that it was a $60 game that released polished and complete. No dlc, no microtransactions, and an actual finished game without a million bugs. In this decade?! That's unheard of! Lol. I appreciate your views on it too!

I havent played video games in over 4 years now. To get my gaming fill I just watch dunky & moistcritical, but its getting to the point where I really want to come back and game again. I have my alienware laptop with so many games on steam that i havent played. Like i still havent played GTAV. I also have my Xbox one X with the $100 version of Red Dead Redemption 2 that I havent played along with Metro Exodus with people really loving that game and I did play and beat Metro 2033 and Last Light a ton. So i want to get the master collection for my switch and then play peacewalker, ground zeroes and the phantom pain. Seeing as I do have my xbox one x I want to get MGSV for it. Since I havent been playing games Ive just been watching a lot of anime. Even watched all of naruto shippuden. So I got $100 version of Naruto ninja storm for my xbox that has the whole story of Naruto and Naruto Shippuden. So I have like over a thousand hours of games I want to play this year especially the Resident Evil 4 remake as I beat the OG RE4 more times than I remember. Even have my personal best of 2 hours and 56 minutes with the Chicago Typewriter, Handcannon & infinite rpg. Starting to ramble here, but I just want to get back into gaming so bad. Still have Fallout 4 to beat as I beat Fallout 3 and New Vegas a lot that I made a playthrough of Point Lookout on Youtube under my other account doittuit. So now I want to get the dlc's for Fallout 4 especially Far Harbor as thats like Fallout 3's Point Lookout 2.0. Man I hope to get back into gaming soon. As I have so much to play, and want so much play.

Thats literally it. You either dunk on an enemy with one massive stagger hit, or build it up rapidly with very tiny hits and once the bar turns red, you melt the boss.
AC6 was a game that was built around a single mechanic that supersedes every other mechanic in the game. Nothing else matters more, and THATS why the game is either extremely easy for people or extremely hard.

bit late to the party but i honestly loved it and personally think you cant compare Armored Core to Dark Souls, Dark Souls and most other FromSoft you are a guy with a sword against things that are clearly as strong, if not stronger than you at all times while Armored Core that isnt the case, you are the expensive custom war machine which, while it may not feel like it, isnt part of every battle in the world hence why most of the enemies you go up against are cheap mass production units that are only a threat in large numbers, you were made to out perform them so you do, its simply how things work in most things mech related. now while i did love AC6 it sadly did lack a lotta the stuff i absolutely loved from the last game such as any sorta coop, the UNACs, customization options like changing your OS voice and probably the thing i miss the most, World Mode, the whole 3 way faction war itself was pretty cool but i honestly kinda loved the roulette of doing missions in World Mode, sometimes you will just be shooting down some choppers with a bit of resistance from the usual mass produced garbage and others you are thrown against a team of enemy players or even a boss fight and unlike AC6 there isnt any checkpoint system, your team wipes and thats it, mission failed, heres the ammo and repair bill giving death an actual consequence. im really hoping AC6 will at least revive the AC series and bring us a better version of AC6 with more of the features of the old games cause it would honestly be perfect, also bring back FreQuency cause AC6s soundtrack was complete garbage, there wasnt a single stand out track in the whole game

i thought the game was challenging if you aim for all endings. i was constantly trying new builds and learning some boosses moves so im not sure how he got through everything with gatling guns when other builds would perform better.

I haven't played it and was thinking about getting it when I just randomly started perusing the Steam Store, saw this and I fondly remembered my experience with a much earlier version of the game. Not sure but it might have even been the original. But whichever it was, I remember feeling the challenge aspect of the game was extremely good. It was definitely not easy or a pushover, but it also wasn't overly challenging where beating several bosses is more of a frustrating rather than satisfying process. It was a nice balance in the middle, and I was hoping you'd say the same about this game so I could feel inspired to buy it.

Comparing it to a soul game is unfair. It's like complaining gun fights don't require as much skill as sword fights which is true. But we use guns. Armored Core 6 is futuristic, so it makes sense. Not every game has to be soul-like just because it's from FromSoftware.

one thing i always find stupid to mention, is comparing Armored Core to souls games ... game was never indented to be one anyway, Yes game is easy once you know how to build and use your mech, still the MP side gives you the real challenge ... I played every single Armored Core game, for me VI takes the cake in gameplay mechanics, still the game lacks in customization specially when you consider the older games was bit complicated cause of the many option
