This game was so much fun! So addictive!
@Schmeatboy Says:
ds1 is too easy because i can make a poise build. ds2 is too easy because i can use the rapier. ds3 is too easy because i can use a straight sword. bloodborne is too easy because i can use the whirligig. elden ring is too easy because i can use moonveil and any bleed build.

best mech game since exteel
@offsidev6059 Says:
Most overrated game ever. Absolutely soulless and boring in every aspect. My bad for not pirating the game to try it first, not gonna make that mistake again.
@Aimaiai Says:
Running quadruple shotguns basically made everything disappear instantly, I think on release quadruple shotguns was literally the de facto strongest build in the game.
@forrestshearree8728 Says:
Custom Robo was so good. Has a weird relation to where we are now imo

I already knew this was gonna happen. I think it is so unfair for people to analyse AC6 only with the context that it's the same company that made DS and ER, and will inevitably compare the two. AC6 might not have the grounded, thoughtful combat that previous titles had, but that doesn't mean it's bad. The game throws a lot of fodder anemies at you, yes, but every level still have it's fare share of challenges and trials that will keep you on your toes. Plus, although mindless, blowing shit up with laser cannons is a fun time in my book.
Thing is, people completely fail to mention the things AC6 did better than previous titles, like establishing character connections and a coherent story. I, for example, didn't care one bit about Melina sacrificing herself to the fire in ER, cuz she barely interacts with you and when she does, she's emotionaless and monotonic, I kept waiting for the moment she would open up and become interesting, but she never did, she lived and died a robot (ironically enough). Characters in AC6 like Rusty, Walter, Carla, Ayre and others, grow to love and/or hate you as the game goes on, and it's extremely emotional whenever you have to betray anyone of them or they betray you.
The multiple endings aren't just a slightly different cutscenes at the end like in ER or DS, and they actually give you new missions with new enemies, bosses and outcomes, giving you plenty of reason to replay the game to get those endings, aside from achievements.

@SleepyMook Says:
Im so glad this game is nothing like dark souls or elden ring like a lot of people’s complaints are. This game is just good old fashioned fun and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

it's my belief that the amount of fun you get out of the game, beyond whether or not you enjoy the actual feeling of the combat and gameplay loop itself, is directly proportionate to how much you care about and actively experiment with your AC Design. i definitely think the game would be stale if you played with the same build for every mission, and some builds definitely feel like one-size-fits-all beasts that are hard to stray away from, but if you put in the effort to customize your build every few missions or so, i think it's hard to not have fun blasting the shit out of robots in this game

@TheSundanceKid-s9f Says:
Tell me which FROM SOFTWARE game this applies to: "Your character and camera movement are wonky and difficult to get used to, especially moreso to master. The combat is somewhat tedious and esoteric, with many of the mechanics not clearly explained to the player. The story is equally difficult to parse, as many of the ultimate details are left up to reader interpretation - but the biggest issue is that despite all of these 'problems,' the game becomes *utterly mindless* and trivial the moment you find 'that one build' and proceed to use nothing *but* 'that one build' through the entire game."
Hint: There are very few wrong answers.
I believe this is what we call a 'double standard?'

@reaperville Says:
I've never played this AC, but Elden Ring suffers from the same "groove" issue you describe. I completed ER with dual greataxes and the game plays itself too.
@Icewall956 Says:
I somewhat disagree with your take. Really well made video, lovely to watch.
@GreyException Says:
Souls/ER is more up my alley, but there's a certain finesse to AC6, especially when you get into NG+ missions and try to S rank every one. You won't be playing on autopilot anymore and will want a good roster of mechs that suits your personal style and the mission itself.
@AceticTWO Says:
Zone of the enders, AC and MechWarrior are goated
@TonyBaloney415 Says:
Just because its Fromsoft doesn't mean all the enemies need to reach out of the screen and shoot your dog.
@hare75 Says:
I mean, did anyone know fromsoft devs themselves said on interview that they still need accessibility? They literally said that after the video trailer of elden ring dlc
They make the game easy to welcome some casuals and that's why armored core 6 sold 2.8 million copies in less than 2 months (which is biggest feats of any mecha games in terms of sold copies)
@darthpheez Says:
It’s definitely a mechanically perfect game that deserves an expansion and more lore. They managed to do so much within the limitations of their designs. It’s DMC5 for mechs.
@Chroniclilskip27 Says:
I finally got all 3 endings and I really liked this game. The game doesn't play like dark souls games, but its not dark souls. I feel like that would be like complaining that there arent Titans in the Star Wars games that Respawn made. I also liked how the different playthrough made it worthwhile to actually play the game more than once by giving you different experiences, especially the third one. I usually never care to do that in games but this one had me hooked. I also liked that it was a $60 game that released polished and complete. No dlc, no microtransactions, and an actual finished game without a million bugs. In this decade?! That's unheard of! Lol. I appreciate your views on it too!

@leatherlass6730 Says:
You gotta stop comparing AC to Elden Ring. Completely different games, completely dofferent genres. You went into this expecting it to be soulslike in its difficulty.
@Makkushimu Says:
Definitely getting this game
@trifurobert1349 Says:
Buddy this game is great , the worst in the franchise , but still great (never played anything below AC 3)
It s kinda how ER is great but the worst of the franchise (DS2 is great and fk off)
And why the fk are you even comparing 2 wildly different games with wildly different genres .
You didn t even play ER properly and now you didn t play AC 6 properly
@eccentricjoe8786 Says:
You gotta take into account that I'm very important and I think dunkey's opinion is wrong and I am right so play armored core it's a good game
