My wife and I love Mr Rife's excellent sense of humor. His bravery to be on stage impromptu as noted in this video is severely understated. Big risk, big reward is true, and he has earned a big reward. There will always, always be someone in every audience who is looking to bring the person on stage down to their level. So glad he took the masculine route and refused to bow down and apologize like the guy who literally saved the world from an asteroid years ago in Hawaii, then was labasted over his Hawaiian shirt being sexist. Comedy s about pushing boundaries and talking about uncomfortable discussions, accented with humour to make it more palatable…I have watched a lot of Matts shows online and have always enjoyed his work. He involves the audience and many disabled people have sad they love that he includes them without tempering the jokes accordingly. Of course there will be people who dont find him funny but watching him is a choice that they make and for those who are offended need to realise that offence is “taken” and “not given”….

Matt is THE most caring & loving towards special needs people. They love the ATTENTION under his care bc when he clocks them in the aisles, in wheelchairs or missing a limb, Matt will inquire about their disability somewhere in the interaction. Now the individual is actually under their consent… not being gawked at in school or malls but man, how wonderful to see someone who’s lived a rougher existence, have such brightness in their eyes when laughing w Matt.
