That religious people, meaning people who use religion to justify sin by doing ten hail marries is not an argument against the biblical prohibition against bankers. Nor those whose lives are motivated by greed, like you and Jordan's lives are. Those self help books are predatory trash. Your debunked series is as dishonest as it is doctrinaire. Eye of a needle. Delayed gratification. When Jordan discussed an oversaturation makes it disgusting... Well we are beyond the point where gender inclusive sex ed must be halted. High schoolers.. Actually 8th graders are being shown sex toys in class and sexual positions sex acts are told to them under thee inclusive banner There have been sexual assault incidents reported already. These children are way too young for this "curriculum" Too immature. It's uncomfortable. It's too much. It's disgusting. Should be done. Never shoulda happened because it was obvious to start that this would happen. Who even ever talks about fisting in their entire life? That's not a thing to be taught for chrissake.

The story of Cain killing Abel is hardly a story of repentence fellas. It it, in fact, just the opposite. Cain when confronted by God about killing Abel only complained about the curse and judgment God imposed. There was no begging for mercy due to his sorrow over his sin, only complaint and fear. Later in the passage Cain's children put two and two together about sin bringing judgment and began to approach God for mercy.

my hardest try should not be compared with your hardest try - Do we not generally manage a most difficult situation the same - a person depending on their perception of degree of threat? How would the heighten bodily stress differ, when compared to each individual, between an Amazonian fighting a lion and a newly licenses teenager changing lanes on an east coast inter-state highway? Is it a car accident or is it a car accident? Both are cause of reality, negating faults of immature responsibility, and both test a person defense coping or core survival behaviors. Dear Mr. Peterson. What I'm about to say, I say with all due humility on my part and incredible respect for you. I've been listening to and benefitting from your work for several years and am thankful for the impact you've had on my life. That said, you sometimes say things about Protestants that are fundamentally flawed, as in this episode - i.e., protestants and private interpretations of Scripture and the number of denominations out there, etc. As a Christian of 14 years, a Reformed Protestant myself, a seminary trained student, a pastoral intern, and someone with a solid grasp of church history and the interplay of its complex dynamics, I have sufficient credibility to challenge some of your assumptions. For example, related to this notion of private interpretations, I question whether you fully understand the protestant view of the significance of the preaching of the word as the primary means of grace. I question whether you fully understand the protestant view of the central importance of being vitally connected to the inner life and ministries of the local church. It's not just "me and my Bible." I question whether you fully understand denominational distinctions and how they have far less to do with private interpretations than they do the impact of theological liberalism in mainline Christianity. I question whether you recognize the same influences and results at work even in established institutional bulwarks like the RC Church and Eastern Orthodoxy, underneath the gloss of theological and practical uniformity. I would be more than happy to discuss these things with you, either online or offline, and no one would ever even need to know the conversation took place. I'm offering because I genuinely care. I'm open to discussing all things Christianity, Scripture, traditions, etc. Again, please receive this in the humility and respect I have towards you.

This was published just a little while after Candace appeared on Tucker Carlson’s show. Maybe I’m reading into things a little too much but I am 100% certain that the first half of the show is a deeply coded conversation about Candace. One thing is for certain, Klavan, Walsh, Knowles, they all could have a very similar conversation with Peterson and explore these very deep and complex ideas. In order to have such a long conversation with Candace Peterson would have to dumb down his vocabulary as well as simplify his ideas. She’s just not bright or curious. Whatever she does in the future she will fizzle out and have the excuse of spending more time with her husband and children to cover up the fact that she just doesn’t have the staying power or talent to last decades. Ben on the other hand will be making commentary and public appearances well into his golden years.

two things regardind JP biblical quotes, to drive his point even further: 1. Noah was a rightous man in his time (not wise), i.e. he was actively a moral beacon, relative to his decrepit generation. 2. The intent of the people building the tower of BAVEL (Babylon) was to ascend to godhood themselves, not to worship a false god (although in a sense it might be the same thing). Otherwise - an incredibly profound discussion!
@architektwo Says:
So, the successful are so because they don't play by all the rules. Some people critisize the successful because they belive they reached their success by unfair means. But those in power are often in persuit of power for the sake of power, not for the common good. In short, they are selfish. Power and success come hand in hand. You cannot just critisize someone because they are in a position of power, you have to look at their actions. Are they aimed at the benifit of themselves or for the benifit of the common good? Idealy you have someone in power who doesn't want to be, but feels like it is his moral duty to the common good to selflessly embody that position because he firmly belives he has to offer a way forward that will better society. But again this is a dobble edged sword because many tyrants belived their actions were for the common good, in reality mostly to the good of their people, not for the good of humanity. You have to be conscious of your flaws as a human, of your capacity for error and misjudgement, if you want to be a humble leader and not a forcing tyrant. Sadly we live in a system where the politics of power are based on manipulation. The common good is the means to the end of staying in power not for the common good itself. Politicians bash each others policies instead of offering alternatives. They argue everything but the point and talk their way past the things that could actually make things better but that would mean they would have to acknowledge their mistake. They cannot do that because that would risk them loosing their power. And of course, if you admit your mistake every other politicial would use it against you to bring your numbers down and their own up. But you don't care for numbers if your goal is the common good. If the people decide you are not who they want in power then their fate is on them, you spoke your truth and did everything while staying true to your principles which you stand by as firmly as when you started your campaign. And still everyone has things to learn...

One of the main reasons Luther tried to REFORM the church was its fundamentally bad and corrupted state. There were not enough control mechanisms within the church. It was already broken. The church had too much power. Luther's idea of destroying that random power was to give or grant the individual the possibility to interact with god directly and immediately. It was a very subversive idea at the time and one can easily see that (no matter what he claimed) his reform was pretty revolutionary right from the start.

Jordan Peterson and Ben Shapiro say the right things and correctly analyze the fatal problems. I listen to them because my Hindu community is facing these problems too in Bharat. But the only thing I don't agree with them is that they don't point out the simple fact that secular multiparty democracy is responsible for these fatal problems. That is why dismantling secular democracy is necessary, and turning the West into a Christian monarchy or theocracy can resolve many of these fatal problems.

It's not just power. It's a mixture of power AND competence. You can be incredibly powerful, but you're not gonna make it very far if you're incompetent. Same goes for people who are highly competent but have no power. When people use the phrase, "might makes right", the word "might" is just a proxy for some mixture of power and competence. It's also an objectively true phrase given the inherently subjective nature of morals/values. This reality is understandably difficult to accept because nothing challenges our egos more than realizing that you don't know what's "right" for anyone other than yourself. Not to mention that the implications of this basic reality are as uncomfortable to grapple with as they are profound. The subjective nature of morality is either the best or the worst kept secret in all of human history. Regardless, it's inarguable. But that's OK. Morality can be entirely subjective and we can still coexist in a relatively peaceful manner. We just have to segregate ourselves culturally and ensure that there are a wide variety of different countries around the world who hold different values so that nobody is forced to live their life in a country whose values are irreconcilable with their own. This is why a 1-world government is such a terrible idea, and it's also why the existence of a place like North Korea is a black-eye on the entire world.

@babauaski3928 Says:
15:00 Bonjour, I'm here to answer this question that you can't answer without contextualizing with France's situation in the late 60's. May 68 and the Bruay en Artois affair in 1972 are the two breaking points that I will explain, but I will first give a long historical contextualisation that you can skip: The entire 19th century for France has been about trying to replicate the french revolution - because, even though we produced emancipation at planetary level, even though over 60countries are still on our civil code, even though we abolished slavery for the first time in history, produced modern nations, etc... which our entire history has prepared, it's not falling from the sky in 1789, such as equality in front of the law with Louis IX, or laicity with Philippe Le Bel, etc... - it just switched power from the monarchy to the bourgeoisie, and in France the bourgeoisie was less kind to the proletariat than the monarchy. It's also a century extremelly prolific for our litterature, Les Misérables being a prime exemple of french leftism (not all cultures produce the same leftism) and deeply inscribed in our memories. You add the colonization which was a leftist universalist enterprise. The french leftism is universalist. When the leftists such as Leon Blum would say superior races have a duty to help inferior races get to their level of developpement the royalists such as Lyautey would say they're not inferior, they are other, and that we should not colonized but build our nation. You add to that the communism situation in the first half of the 20th century. But here is very important, you also add to that the WW2 occupation by Germany, which could have ended up in a civil war after the liberation if De Gaulle didn't save the traitors. The mapping of individual integrity and political validity has been influenced by the propaganda that has surrounded this period after the war. For instance, most the résistance was a product of individual integrity but if there's one party that resisted more than the others it's the AF, royalists. And if there's a party that betrayed more it's the socialists. Now, despite the germano-soviet collaboration until 1942 the communist did resist, and as a way to not be associated with traitors a lot of leftists (like Sartre, like Simone de Beauvoir) went from socialism to communism after the war, and fueled the communist propaganda regarding communists doing all the resistance job, and the royalists and anything on the right wing being the real traitors. Just like it's De Gaulle and the CNR whom created our social security, whom gave the right to vote to women (knowing that Napoléon III wanted to do that in 1860's already but was blocked by the bourgeois) - well communist propaganda will pretend it's them whom did all of that. To finish this up you add the situation with our french colonies. Indeed, now that we wasted 4times more money than we earned from these colonies, now that these colonies costed us men and slowed our industry to the point that we started WW1 with half the artillery of Germany (despite artillery causing 80% of casualties) the right wingers wanted to keep them and the leftists to give them up. 1962 De Gaulle liberates Algeria. Back to may 68, imagine you're a young bourgeois boomer with the psychology we know of boomers, how could you claim moral highground without being bothered with merit? You barge into all the conflicts in the world to take the defense of "the oppressed", and you dress up like a working class person to play revolution. That's what happened in may 68, it's privileged leftist students pretending to be working class to overthrow the "oppressive system". Problem is, the real working class doesn't follow up. None of the poor subscribe to their adolescent demands, they in majority support De Gaulle, they in majority do not want a world where it's "forbidden to forbid" and you can do whatever the fuck you want including decriminalizing pedophilia. These leftists bourgeois are very discontent with the working class. How stupid are they to not understand it was time for a revolution? Bruay en Artois is a criminal case that occurs 72, it's the most mediatized french affair in our entire history yet everybody forgot about it today. A young girl from the humble classes is murdered, and the suspects are bourgeois. The leftists smelled blood, it's finally their revolution moment, they work night and day to mediatize and blow out of proportion this affair in order to mobilize the working class and overthrow the system - but the working class still doesn't want to create their utopia. That's where the switch happens. The leftists whom so far militated for the living conditions of the working class and for whom economical questions were central put the economics at the bottom of preoccupations. They use their mediatic power to create the "beauf" which is a caricature of the working class person, some disgusting, racist, bigoted, mediocre, backward, stupid asshole. They wont militate for the white working class anymore, they are the enemy just like the rest of the system, they will militate for every minority groups. Which has this magnificent advantage to remove the disagreement points they had with the right wing bourgeoisie. Indeed, each of the ideas of the leftists today are compatible with right wing liberals. That is why the IMF has the same view on immigration as the leftists. This is why you see companies promoting LGBT. The two liberal bourgeoisies, left and right, are working together. The right wing bourgeoisie produce economical capital, the left wing bourgeoisie produce moral capital, one imports immigrants to replace local workers asking for better working conditions, the other uses media platform to say the working class asking to regulate immigration is racist. They're both working to the benefit of their class to the detriment of everything else, living standards, security, productivity, etc... Woke emily will say fuck capitalism but will say end borders and sell her ass on onlyfans, global Steven will say fuck wokism but will say end borders and sell national assets to foreign powers.
