I wouldn't say dumb, just naive. For example illegal immigration is a great issue on paper for someone who's never seen countries destroyed by it before. So they fall for it. Same thing with letting criminals go hoping they'd do better. They don't and you learn the hard way these policies don't work. Only some of it is lack of intelligence most of it inexperience.

Now I know nothing about this song or the artist other than he looked like a white dude and he is rapping…and I have never heard it or seen him before.
BUT, I do know what the lyric was because it was in the subtitles. And within that context, I’m not sure Peterson picked up on the fact that he said “if” before “every Caucasian’s a bigot”, cuz it changes the whole flavor of the phrase. And since Peterson is omitting that first word “if”, which I am not saying he is intentionally doing it but more likely a simple error on his part, it negates the entire commentary, and therefore it just needs to be scrapped.
Then just start over and this time use the entire lyric, with the “if” included, and then do the analysis.
Nobody’s perfect.
