I've only seen the CBum persona from an outside perspective. To see the real Christopher gives me a newfound respect for the man.

I had similar process when as a PT was asked to instruct fitness classes to groups of older adults. With historical public speaking fails gargantuan in proportion because of overwhelming anxiety of my deep voice for a girl, who was mute for teens and 20's, this opportunity to perform in front of a forgiving group of elders was what it took as first step in publuc speaking. What Chris says about it's not anything in particular that causes the nerves, it's just a whole bunch of nervous energy you can't rationalise. But when get up there, and fumble around and through, you realise there's a forgiveness of the spectators (participants), they can appreciate you're real, they relate, and that generates a reciprocated understanding. Mutal experience. I dunno. But it's tranformative.

I like the topic of how you see someone and expect them to be a certain way based on how they look. Years ago, I worked with this girl - she was probably around 19. She was tall & beautiful- looked like a model & I expected her to be snooty. But it turns out that she was goofy and funny - nothing pretentious at all & I loved her personality. But it definitely gave me cognitive dissonance. 😆

@travistaylor6110 Says:
I have no aspirations to be a bodybuilder but I do frequent the gym 4 to 5 times a week. I can absolutely respect the daily discipline this craft requires. I started lifting seriously 5 months ago. I've been using a couple of products from GNC (not paid to promote them, just stating what I've done). Their Mass XXX mass gainer in the black tub and the Men's Strength Vitapaks in the blue box, 30 day supply. Those two in tandem allowed me to gain 28 lbs in 5 months, from 162, the little stick that I was, to now 190. Now I feel out of rhythm and lazy if I don't lift. The transformation you get from consistency and discipline is real. Key word consistency.
