You had a life story of a hero , and I feel really frustrated that everyone tells you that it's a trauma and you yourself agree with that. Just ask yourself was the story you created good enough or not, and now on future what new stuff I should learn and observe, all story are gooodddd not a trauma.Also have a good day

What Navy ship had that many assaults? I googled and found nothing

DEI...? I was a US soldier, and retired. YES, women have a place in the service. NO, they do not belong in individual, one-on-one fighting. Women work well enough with "crew served" direct combat weapon systems.

I'm a woman who served, but only briefly and never deployed. I also have been working with the military for the better part of a decade now. I read Kelsi's book a few weeks ago and hers was the first testimony about PTSD I was able to truly understand. I've heard others talk about their experiences and what happens after the physical danger has passed, and have certainly heard of service members committing suicide and never really understood. Kelsi made me understand, for which I am incredibly grateful. This understanding made me a better support for some people who are very dear to my heart.

58:30 - I mean, would you rather those kids have the memory of getting their house blown up because their mom or dad were smuggling weapons? You always have to ask "As opposed to what?" You were doing them a favor being nice enough to come in and find the stuff and remove it. (Don't delete my comment btw, I'm explaining how this would have worked in any other war.)
@notapplicable8957 Says:
46:00 - Would be interested in knowing how many of these claims are false, just women trying to get out of working or taking responsibility also. This, by the way, is why we wanted female roles in the military to be as limited as possible. Both for their safety and for the safety of the men they would accuse having not done anything.

That's really heavy stuff 😢

DEI leads to massive casualities and defeat in war.

I first heard her on Cleared hot idk how many years ago and fell in love. Not like that. I think she’s awesome! I’m addicted to her podcast, I love her attitude outlook on life and lessons she shares. We should be listening and learning from our Vets. She may be Canadian but seems like an American at heart, it’s the defiance she’s definitely welcome here. Yeah I’m American 😁
@robyn7287 Says:
The experiences of battle are horrific and it’s so understandable that so many soldiers have problems settling into their lives back home and get triggered. Her story is very captivating and interesting. At times she is contradicting herself however I feel that would be normal in these extreme circumstances.

I just listened to this podcast on my phone. I had to search for it online to share it. This is one of the most impressive women alive. She has my unfailing respect. 🫡

First interview where Dr. Peterson didn't carry the majority of the conversation. 😂

“You weigh 30lbs more than I can carry. You need to be more inclusive if you want me to rescue you.”

You know it’s a great interview when JP only has to ask a few well-framed questions. Not because I don’t like listening to JP, but because the guest is just that interesting
@dianaheymans168 Says:
She is egotistical . No humility. Annoying.
@peterhun3185 Says:
What other army would bring in a woman to search woman? This is too respectful.

If you need years of therapy you aren’t strong full stop.

One of the best interviews you've done! This lady is extremely intelligent, diverse, creative, determined and such a role model just doing her thing! Wow, absolutely brilliant!

Fascinating story. Thank you.
@cheryl8466 Says:
I should probably listen to more female veterans. I definitely relate to the PTSD side of things. Mine was attained differently. But... Idk.. i just haven't come across a lot of women who speak openly about it.. I'm assuming that's from the guilt and shame. .. maybe I just need to broaden my horizon.

This is just a very interesting conversation. The emotion is heavy, they’re both deep thinkers in their own way one more emotional one more academic but overall this is highly engaging and if anybody is trying to figure out if they want to watch it is well worth the time.

Incredible story, so much respect for her. Hope life for her gets better and better every day.

Great interview! She’s a good storyteller. She’s honest and straight to the point. You can feel the emotional undertones. Very interesting that she’s a psychedelic coach. I’ve been experimenting with natural ways to address, my anxiety, sleep, and mood disorders. I’m going to check out her online profile.

Great episode. Thanks for this.
@Chris-ji4iu Says:
The level of honesty from Ms. Sheren is profound. This is exactly what is needed from all of us.
@Jannette-mw7fg Says:
Great interview! What she says at 1;15 is how hatred spreads. The same thing she was feeling, was felt by the other side {Taliban in this case}, this is how war gets "baby's".....My Afghan husband saw similar horrible things, from childhood when the Russians came till he fled.He was in the army, but escaped. It is a wonder he is alive, same goes for a lot of Afghans...I do not know what the Americans {and other forces as the Canadians} did wrong; coming in...or leaving, or both? Maybe it was good? Let God judge.....My husband prays every day to thank God that he, as far as he knows, did not kill an other human being, but he knows that was luck, not wisdom or good morality!

This person is pure “badass”. Thank God she exists and perseveres. Sexy as hell and full of grace…

Lowered standards=liberal leadership.
@McCarthy1776 Says:
Whoel lot of civilians with little knowledge in military matters, exercise physiology, hormones and anatomy voicing their emotion based opinions here. A few of you make semi-rational arguments but just dont understand the details and how the military works or how much different male and female biology is
@michaelpettersson6028 Says:
