When your ideology becomes your identity, you can't see the forest for the trees. Your entire view becomes compromised. Only to label people who differ in opinion from you as a misbelieved oppositional political party extremist you have anger towards, instead of a fellow American you could debate and talk to about opposing points and learn from each other with mutual respect. When religion and politics combine it is the same. Seperation of Church and State is a necessity. You only end up polluting both if not.

I think toxic empathy is a good summary term-they will let their feelings incinerate the world and those around them all because of how they feel about a particular class/system, COMPLETELY ignoring all logic even the politically unbiased in the process

There’s such a fundamental component to these factors of “not being bright” or “low verbal intelligence” when applying neuroscience: 1. A higher ratio of limbic functioning’s to cortical functionings. In other words, the parts of your brain involved with emotion is more active than the parts of the brain with abstract thinking, planning, pattern recognition.

And not being very bright can be seen among religious ppl too. In fact politically correct is for intelligent ppl because without emotional intelligence a person doesn’t understand the rational for politically correct views. It’s why some countries don’t use the death sentence anymore. Some ppl wear wigs due to hair loss and some ppl can identify they are wearing a wig but don’t say anything - it’s called compassion. Compassion doesn’t require high intelligence.

God it’s like a self perpetuating cult every where you will find these people who seem to think that cause they have been to Uni they know it all and the truth is they know nothing about real life, I turned Uni down but I thought my eldest son was heading in that direction then he made a total turnaround and decided he wanted to be a care worker, and I thought oh dear but I supported his choice and now he’s a senior, he’s so street wise but me and his dad strayed from the path and did what we wanted to do

There will come a time when his own obsession with justice, which uses political correctness, diversity, and morality, will come to an end. If we aim for equality that goes any further than this, it will become a dystopia. It will create a new type of anti-immigration dictator. (If women run wild with power, rights will go back to the old days) It would be ironic if morality and peaceful sentiments led to war

I’m naturally suspicious of anyone who uses the term, “politically correct” as an epithet without any definition. And when that term is used as an ad hominem attack, you know that it’s entirely political and not scientific.

We really need to change that stupid term, "politically correct" to something more accurately descriptive. My suggestion: 🤔 "POLITICALLY CRACKED".
@envisiotube Says:
I'm pretty shure that being religious is another significant predictor to be susceptible for political correctness – did you examine this, too, Jordan? Religious people in Europe were for centuries very successfull in oppressing science, knowledge, progress and "divergent" ideas as soon as ways of life in general – and if the Romans would have been more decisive to extirpate the christian salvation type cult, with a high probability we would have computers since at minimum 200 years and medicine treatment we can today only dream of. Political and religious correctness are "two sides of the same coin", as we say in German.

Common attributes of those who have moved from Liberalism and Progressivism are 1. My life has changed to where I am responsible to myself and others aka gaining employment and starting or planning a family. 2. I have decided to learn things on my own by listening to other opinions or researching current events and history. Otherwise known as 1. Grew the F up. 2. Grew the F up.

In gardening implements that need to be sharp, there is an auger, or some kind of post-hole digger. The hole, once covered by a fence post is a place the sun does not shine literally. That is by God in my sacred belief God is real and by that- this natural language of the first part is explicit and *literal* - simplistically true by the natural language typed in my freedom of speech. In my inherent thankfulness, thank you for your consideration, in that it is hoped that expert in philosophy, Jordan Peterson has prudent time to read this. I "confess," I have no college degree, but have had some college. That negative one, noninclusive that line of demarcation, through positive one is precise as a distance of two units. In "physics," that is physical science it is thought that there can be "instantaneous" time, however, that is an extrapolation logically. The reference point zero on the x-axis or y-axis represents a place of logically, either no distance or as the distance between negative and positive gets close to zero that point of a real point, not just a conceptual point of no length, breadth or depth in geometry. In that this morning, in natural language typed here, there are the horizons, of observable as I left my dwelling place of residence - there is the north, the south, the east and the west, quite obviously. The expanse of skies are there, and at some place from the vantage point of the seas and the drylands of earth in the world the sun rises some place during 24 hours a day as 7 days of week pass. The evening and the morning of the first day through the evening and the morning of the seventh day, weekly. In my knowledge of "shift" employment there are the A, B, and C shifts in my lifelong experience, and the sun is setting someplace during each shift, and the sun rises someplace during each shirt, simply literal existing reality logically, "speaking." Can I prove that God exists of my own use of natural language? No. That God is real, God is Eternal, the Creator is a sacred personal belief of mine. In this, as God gave, "have no Gods before Me," or could be in natural language as follows, "have no gods before Me, or [me]" in that this references, Exodus 20. During just prior to the first century, as I uphold, there are no Gods before God, Who is Eternal the Creator, God did beget the only begotten Son of God, the Son of man, the Messiah, simply synonymous to: the Christ, Name thereof, Jesus of Nazareth, of historically northern Israel in Galilee of nations, thus holds to my, have no Gods before God, and that does not call, Him, "God," because God beget Him. God is Sovereign over Psalm 103, which specifically "says" in natural language that God has compassion like a father, and by natural language God is Sovereign in this specifically over the Paternal nature of God Who did Send, Name thereof, Jesus of Nazareth. Thus "Three States of Eternal Being," can by the natural language texts, of God is "Heavenly Father," in that Jesus of Nazareth at the Last Discourse specifically told, the Father is greater than Jesus of Nazareth, Name thereof. Subsequent to the Resurrection, Jesus of Nazareth from His perspective did tell, my God and your God, of He had not yet Ascended into Heaven. My sacred personal belief by freedom of typed natural language text, does not from my perspective impose belief on someone else. Thus, in these State jurisdictions of the United States of America, I concur to uphold the Establishment Clause of the 1st Amendment and have exercised by my sacred personal belief, God given right of freedom of speech in typed text in natural language. Good today of day, and the blessings of inherent rights, dignity, self-worth of universal to each human being person, in the need of "inner self," correct just peacekeeping. 🕊

@LoGos7891 Says:
I can’t take anyone seriously when they use the term “politically correct” without defining the belief so that it can be specifically analyzed and debated. It’s bad faith and intellectually lazy. On top of that, his argument is nothing but ad hominem: folks who believe “politically correct authoritarianism,” whatever the heck that means, “aren’t very bright?” That’s your argument? Let’s see the study and examine your methods and assumptions. Otherwise this is anti-intellectual clickbait for anyone who wants to hear a professor smearing “liberals” by just hand-waving any counter arguments and calling them stupid.
