On listening again, check your mom's 'vaccine' and other drugging schedule, the dates and their proximity to when you observed symptoms. Poisoning is cumulative. The drugs/shots for patterns of degenerative dis-ease. Flu, pneumonia, shingles shots are medical assault. The naming of symptom collections is the basic scam. More disease names, more drugs to sell. You said lifestyle changes are just as effective as pharmaceuticals. No. Good lifestyle choices that match our needs don't have toxic side effects for which docs will write even more prescriptions.

I feel like people are going in the opposite direction like from all carbs to ZERO carbs. Why are carbs in a small portion awful?
A dinner roll a couple times a month, or a lunch sandwhich with a side of fruit? I make all my breads myself and we don't eat them to excess but I love me a turkey sandwich with homemade mayo! I like a baked sweet potato sometimes.
I make nearly everything from scratch. The only reason why I don't gather my own meat from scratch is because I don't have my farm yet. 😂

I have great admiration for Dr. Jordan Peterson—he is one of my heroes and, in my view, among the most intellectually honest and courageous thinkers of our time. For years, I’ve been concerned about his and his daughter’s health and sincerely wish them both long, healthy lives.
That said, I’d like to share some evidence-based insights that may offer a different perspective on nutrition and longevity. Approximately 90,000 Seventh-day Adventists in the U.S. and Canada have been studied for over 50 years. About half of them follow a plant-based diet, and they tend to live, on average, 14 years longer than the typical American. This isn’t a coincidence—it’s a striking example of how lifestyle, particularly diet, profoundly affects health and lifespan.
Dr. Michael Greger’s books, How Not to Die and How Not to Age, compile an extensive body of scientific research on how diet impacts the most common chronic diseases. Naturally, there are exceptions—Winston Churchill famously drank, smoked, and ate meat, yet lived into his 90s. But such cases are genetic outliers and not representative of the broader population, where lifestyle-related illnesses remain the leading cause of premature death.
Personally, I followed the Atkins diet for more than nine years. By the time I reached 62, it had nearly destroyed my health. That experience forced me to rethink everything I thought I knew about nutrition.
If you're not one of those rare individuals who can defy the odds, I genuinely recommend exploring How Not to Die or How Not to Age. These books distill decades of peer-reviewed science into a practical, evidence-based approach to achieving a longer, healthier life—a goal I believe we all share.

Hey all, check out Jonathan Jarry of McGill University, he analysed Lugavere's claims and it's totally wrong. Check yourself studies about plant-based diet and you'll discover that it's meat consumption that is linked with risk of dementia. I'm really sorry about this misinformation and for people who believe this. Maybe ketodiet or carnivore diet is best for you and that's okay! Nobody should tell someone what to eat. BUT, correct information is the way. Don't trust casual speakers. See also Lugavere's sponsor: Butcher Box. There are tons of researches available to all, most studies claim that plant-based diet are associated with lower risk of dementia, cardiovascular disease and ecc...all most all-causes. Now, I agree highly-refined carbohydrates should be limited, but whole grain...come on. Check yourselves you all!
Here some studies: Meat consumption and risk of incident dementia by Zhang, Greenwood; Antioxidants-rich natural fruit and vegetable ... by Jideani Cheers; association of major dietary protein sources with all-cause and cause-specific mortality by Yangbo Sun...ecc;
Cheers :)

Cole robinson especially. But i challenge you to do sugar diet. Try it. One week in and it's amazing. Great energy, no bloat. Losing weight and cracked hands and feet are healed. I was high fat and protein for 3 years, no bueno now. you have to cycle things in and out. Sugar diet is high fructose and it does signaling to you liver and other organs to get insulin high, clear blood sugar and then go back down. To restore better insulin signaling. Less insulin resistance. I'll report back if this keeps going. I'll definitely cycle back off the sugar and go back to high fat. One way of eating I don't think is ideal based on my results.

This is a fascinating conversation, I have seen Max Lugavere in other interviews, but this one is particularly good. I am only half way through... so forgive me if my question/s is mentioned down the road but, what about pre existing conditions like Autism and eventual dementia? is there a reason or link? What about the contraction of meningitis? Does that cause severe cognitive decline later in life, are there dietary factors or other factors that aid cognitive decline when someone has had this disease or was clearly autistic? Anyway, thanks for the interview, really interesting.
@h.newton8982 Says:
2 questions I would ask -
Have you interviewed large amounts of people above the age of 80, and deeply enquired what their diet is for their lifetime and what country has the highest and lowest scores of dementia to investigate this correlation.
Also what about drinking water and fluoride?
Many questions

He probably would of lived longer had he not been advised by a guru to stop eating meat. he switched his main source of protein to a legume... and for some people legumes are literal poison.

I believe strongly in eating intuitively. I don't eat fruits or nuts or berries. I love root vegetables and vegetables & protein. I'm of north eastern European descent (dna test) i have French, Norwegian, possibly Greek ect. - I tried to eat a more plant based diet with spinach, fruits & lots of berries and i had horrible brain fog, fatigue ect. I stopped eating all that and went back to root vegetables, vegetables and protein (animal based /meat/etts/poultry/fish) and felt 100% better within 2 weeks.... so listen to your gut in a sense, eat intuitively, if you feel a food isn't right for you- don't eat it. I lost 2 years of my life trying to 'eat healthy according to what someone else thought was healthy' IT DOESN'T WORK!
I eat about 2 eggs a day, salads & a fair amount of animal protein. Lol no problem now.
