This game gets even better when you learn that Jack is basically a gay cia agent sent to sow terror so space aliens can harvest chaos energy from final fantasy world but he tried to stop the space aliens with the help of his elf boyfriend and his polycule and then the space aliens brainwashed him and his polycule (but then his polycule remembered while Jack didn't) so when they met again they started their plan to turn Jack into a depression monster who would be able to destroy the aliens harvesting machine and then he hired Bahamut from ffxv to train the warriors of light to kill him and bring about world peace.
