I was reading Mr Nice on the train. A older lady saw the title and started asking me about the book when I explained the subject matter she politely moved seats. The book it self was bound out of sequence meaning that you got so far and had to go looking for the next page.

I grew the Mr Nice Hash Plant for years. Tasted like chocolate. Cuts of that pheno are still going around the hills now in my neck of the woods

Now here's a guy that I can call a true Gentleman. The Gentlemen Of Cali should have taken notes from him.
@JammyGit Says:
Aaaahh....Mr Nice.....It's no coincidence that the so called hash that you see around today is so poor in quality that it doesn't work and is more like boot polish mixed with a bit of sugar 😆 But back in the 80s and into the early 90s most of the hash in England was most likely from the tons of hash that he brought over 😉 The man is a legend in my eyes, and yeh, the book is very good - I bought it to read on a holiday in Majorca many years ago. I had no idea that he lived there too and I remember reading about that and hoped that I'd bump into him over there, that would have been weird 😆😎

I was a mid-level drug dealer, far in the past, all the higher-ups were nice people far from the violent fictional drug lords. The most violent gang are the police shooting unarmed people in the back and ruining lives for possession of small amounts of drugs.

I was lucky enough to meet Howard Marks twice, a lovely friendly man indeed. I once sat with him in his caravan backstage at Glastonbury for a smoke and a chat. Then met him again years later at Camp Bestival, he told me they had asked him to read stories in the children's tent, you couldn't make it up. But he did the gig and as usual surpassed himself. Weirdly I still miss him!

Somehow I got a giggle when I entered video expecting mafia type drug dealing and then "cannabis drug lord". It's so difficult to imagine in 2022 that cannabis is drug lord stuff.

As a proud American, One time drug attic but now 15 years sober……there’s a good chance each and every agent from the USA is infinitely more evil and sadistic than this guy and his associates ever could’ve been

The fact that he was released after only 4 years in prison, after being sentenced for 25 years is absolutely crazy! Wow.

You didn't loose yer hair Simon, it just decided to grown a bit lower. I started shaving my head when I noticed it was getting thin on top. Now I'm more like an American Sean Connery. I can still make a young girl blush and an old woman squeal. When it comes to vodka, I only drink the high quality stuff when eating caviar Russian style. I'm a single malt man.

Alcoholism slams shut the door that LSD opens. He was probably already dependent on alcohol and that may have contributed to his bad experience.
