Well, this didn't age well. According to WHO, there is a new vaccine showing promise for the Ebola strain currently, May-2026, circulating in the DRC and Uganda. Current estimates are that it will take a minimum of 3 months before a vaccine will be ready.
Viruses mutate. We never know when a new strain that is resistant to current vaccines will develop.
