Boston Dynamics' New Robot Makes Soldiers Obsolete, Here's Why

????

Military robotics technology is not far behind as our world becomes more advanced. If you have seen Corridor Digital's parody video, you may know what the future will look like. Don't worry; the realism of that video is a testament to the advancements in visual effects at the Los Angeles production studio, and not necessarily robotics. But to be honest, we are not far behind, and in this video, we will explore a company and its line of robots that are leading the charge to make soldiers obsolete.

In December 2024, Boston dynamics quietly sold its ENTIRE company, all of its assets, and all of its intellectual property to the Chinese communist party through Hyundai. Now Hyundai, in China, working for the Chinese military, has the complete Boston dynamics robotic Arsenal. You can expect these two legged robots to be in the Chinese army very soon or they are already here and they will have guns.

Wars will be pretty much too expensive at the current robot price . Imagine an army of 1000,000 robots at a price of 100,000$ each. So 100,000x1,000,000 = 100,000,000,000$ for the army and remember everyday 1000 of them being destroyed , so that means it costs 100,000x1000 to replace the destroyed ones so that means an additional 100,000,000$ every day!!! And then you have to charge those bots, probably everyday. It sounds pretty expensive doesn't it

Robots can use by the good of the society but Yankee gov will use for WAR

See the war in Ukraine has pretty much exposed the Atlas robot as a complete hoax that was created ONLY to fluff up Boston Dynamics stock. It's been 20 years now of constant "press releases", but still no viable product has been made. It's the ultimate vaporware! They CLAIM to have this super awesome and incredibly agile humanoid terminator like robot. So.... why don't they set up production and start cranking them out for Ukraine? Don't say "munny durr" either. Look at how much money has been dumped into Ukraine already. Cranking up production of killer Atlases would be a drop in the bucket. And it's the perfect answer to the manpower problem in the Ukraine war. So again... WHERE ARE THEY? The REAL answer is that the "Atlas" robot DOES NOT EXIST!!!

Boston Dynamics has recently made an announcement that they will never weaponise their platforms. There is infact a robotics company that supplies the US with similar Robot dogs, but not Boston Dynamics.

And if you could switch it from Drone Plane to race car or speed boat Whichever one you have
@zackeryjansson590 Says:
They need to make a drone plane/race car Drone plane/ Speed boat All they got to do is get the for propeller drone part and attach it to a race car or speed boat It would be nice if you could switch from battery to gas on the drones

Learn more This article needs additional citations for verification. (November 2014) Bolas or bolases (singular bola; from Spanish and Portuguese bola, "ball", also known as a boleadora or boleadeira) is a type of throwing weapon made of weights on the ends of interconnected cords, used to capture animals by entangling their legs. Bolas were most famously used by the gauchos, but have been found in excavations of Pre-Columbian settlements, especially in Patagonia, where indigenous peoples (particularly the Tehuelche) used them to catch 200-pound guanacos and rheas. The Mapuche and the Inca army used them in battle.[1] Mapuche warriors used bolas in their confrontations with the Chilean Army during the Occupation of Araucanía (1861–1883).[2]
