14:57 keep up the great work, I've been subscribed for years, one thing i'm not a fan of, is the 4-5second pauses of dead air between transition cuts, I know alot of school videos in primary school etc did it, I'm sure there is some reasoning to it related to something like giving the viewer time to let the information of the section\topic they've just watched set in, before we cut to another section and hit them with some new information etc.

A great guide. Thanks Chris. The only problem I had was that I had secure boot enabled. It wouldn't work until I turned it off.

8:46 Everything worked fine for me up until this point where whenever I double click WIndows, it just gives me and error saying "Kernel driver not installed (rc=-1908), The VirtualBox Linux kernel driver is either not loaded or not set up correctly. Please reinstall virtualbox-dkms package and load the kernel module by executing". This has frustrated me for a while and idk how to fix it.
Edit; After immense and torture, I miraculously, somehow, got it working!

Thank you very much. Last night I ran into the 'unattended installation bug' and was getting really frustrated. All the other advice on YouTube didn't work for me. My Windows 10 installation on Linux is going ahead great now.

Great walk through!!! Thank you very much for this excellent video and the helpful explanations!! Helped me a lot!!
@stevenwilliams6258 Says:
Greatly appreciated! Well explained. I installed Win10Probon Ubuntu 24.04 LTS. Got the USB-A working with a Blu-ray and a Quant Asylum QA401 audio distortion analyzer. I like Exact Audio Copy but it's metadata plugins weren't working on Bottles, just the default one. QA401: I couldn't get the headless interface with a web interface to it to work. It is fairly old. These run fine in the Win10 Pro install on VirtualBox. This is better than having to switch to the Windows 11 SSD during bootup. I had two Windows 10 Pro PCs that I decommissioned, though didn't do an uninstall of the product keys. I looked into this and it said to use it only on one device -- I cannot go back as I removed memory, drives.

Great so i can use ms office on linux now
@stevemorrell4066 Says:
Chris, Activating MS Office inside a Win10 VM doesn't work. It's too hard to get past MS's login as a normal machine. Maybe you could have a video of installing and activating an ISO / product key of MSO2019.?? Pretty please.

Nice tutorial! Thank you!
@AndyHewco Says:
Hi ! I've done a fresh install of Ubuntu LTS and go to the App Center to search for VirtualBox but I don't see the same experience you have. When I search there is nothing under snaps, and one item simply titled "VirtualBox" under debian packages. If I try to install this it errors at the end with error code 10. I can see VirtualBox but looks like not properly installed. Any ideas where I am going wrong?
@yemarican Says:
Thank you very much for this excellent and neat tutorial. nifty!

Fantastic video, up to the usual impeccable standards of this channel: This is the detailed guide I was looking for. Many thanks! Could you please also consider making an equally detailed video guide for installing Winapps? With my very best regards from Greece!
