So the write speed for collection of files are comparable to the sequential write of a decent HDD, that's not bad at all, there's some SATA SSDs that are slower, but then again, people shouldn't use sd cards and microsd cards for data storage, aside from on the go.

I copy my Steam library games to storage them on 2280 SSD m.2 and use an MINI SSD card reader from Biwin over USB 4 docking station (PULWTOP TB4 dockingstation) and it is very fast (internal copy in device from MINI SSD to 2280 m.2 (Gen 4x4) big games between 90 GB to 130 GB (maybe 60 to 80 seconds). I like this new storage type MINI SSD but nobody will buy a 2 TB BIWIN MINI SSD for 750 Euros, thats more than crazy. the price for PCIe M.2 are in an utopian pricerange soon if this wont will stop. Referring to "USB 3 Gen 2" is confusing if you include the "3.2 gen 2" because you have to ignore the .2 bit, because the USB-IF standard names are confusing. Please just say _either_ USB 3 10Gbps; or you could say USB 3 Gen 2.
Realistically gen 2 means "3.1" originally", but USB-IF made this confusing because 3.0 is the same as 3.1g1 and 3.2g1

There are also UFS cards which also have two rows of pins. UFS is also comparable in speed but there are almost no devices and it is not backwards compatible.
EDIT: UFS stands for Universal Flash Storage an independent standard, UHS stands for Ultra High Speed an is part of the Secure Digital standard.
