here in mid may of 2024, i bought a refurbished pixel 6 in excellent condition on ebay for 210 pounds (~265usd) , and my battery will easily get me through the entire day and often have 20-40% battery left. just goes to show how software is so important, and how google's done really well with the adaptive battery

I'm a Pixel fan. But my fanness came with front facing stereo speakers. Face it. When you use any phone, where are your fingers? Your palms? Right over the speakers, on most phones. Yeah, yeah, yeah. The camera. But what about the phone? What about the game play? What about watching videos? You want the sound aiming at you. But only Sony and some gamer phones take that into consideration.
I'm still using my 3XL. And if battery life is so yuck, on the 6 pro, and no front facing stereo speakers? I'll hang. The goods don't outweigh the cons. Thanks Marquis 👍

Issues I wish I knew about. Heating issues. Curved screen makes it hard to click on stuff on the edge. Camera makes stuff up so many artifacts/always as bright as day. Buggy software. Short battery life. No cast /mirror to tv without paying. Phone listens to your conversations and u will get targeted ads. Mic quality not so great . Video is a sales pitch. The ai editor is a glorified blur tool. Video shows best case scenario

I've been thinking about getting a pixel 6, but I'm seeing a lot of used pixels with a dead spot in the top right of the screen, right over the wifi and battery symbols for the drop down.
Does anyone know if this is this a common problem with this phone? Does it happen to both pixel 6 and the pro, or just one. Thats kinda a dealbreaker for me if so, because that area is big real-estate for my fingers and its going to bother the hell out of me if my phone screen goes dead there.

Viewfinder is extremely important in terms of how photos can come out, period. Looking like that sorry I would never buy a phone. Note 8 began that over sharpening effect and never went back to Samsung since. iPhone XS Max has this nasty yellowish look to it or softer image quality I hated but I didn’t see a replication of it on newer models even with my 14PM. Can’t say the same with Sammy, their quality still garbage. iPhone remain supreme in camera quality period and has always until the Note 7 but sadly that got lost. For the foreseeable future, iPhone will forever remain the camera king and I will always recommend 100% the iPhone for best camera on a smartphone.

Why does no one talk about battery saver? All phone manufacturers put that in so that you don't have to worry about your phone dying as fast. Set it to automatically turn on at 50 or 25 percent. I do that with all my phones even ones that I bought brand new. It is a life saver, and not only that but I have so that when it hits 25 percent it turns on extreme battery saver mode which only leaves on the most essential apps and turns off all other apps.

The body is very fragile!!! The back of it is super fragile glass, even more fragile than the front screen. Because I've been ultra careful with my phone (my phones last me for years because I'm so careful) yet somehow the back of the phone got shattered while in a protective case. when shattered you can see how fragile the material is. I'll buy sony's flagship next time...
