The secret is it's got spare from Israel built in. Don't believe me just research for yourself.

He looks different. Eyeliner?
@jasneilsidhu4414 Says:
iPhones had reverse wireless charging hardware for years. I think the only time it is on is when you have their batter pack on and the phone is plugged in and both the phone and pack charge.
@G07R007 Says:
😂 you just found the secret NSA backdoor
@MarkBowenPiano Says:
A lot of it is due to licences.
@TechNerdified Says:
Talk about sketchy
@Hiddeny.2044 Says:
This is not a penny pinching thing, this is hoping in the future they can enable a feature that they never said would happen and boom. Apple just made something old new again and it costs the millions to do so.
@jonathangarcia4959 Says:
They also do the opposite. In early butterfly keyboard Laptops they added a connector on the board which a technician can connect to the logic board and do data recovery. They then took out the connector from the logic board but its marks to solder the connector is still there which means you can technically still connect to it but you have to know how to solder right. Removing it though, made it go beyond the services they could offer at an apple Genius Bar as they do not do soldering work. removing this essentially removed data back up capabilities as they continued to push iCloud.
@TheKaves2 Says:
Accelerometer (or something like that?) in iPhone 1..
@gasperjager Says:
Same as what Tesla did with back seat warmers?
It gives users the perception that products evolve over time, which is a selling point?:) thinking ahead smartly..users go nuts..keep buying:)
@DrDoomsy Says:
Bro where is that shirt from
@energysavingday Says:

@godsfav7551 Says:

@johannes2812 Says:
It’s all about setting up subscriptions models. Car brands has done it for decades
@Kickdrumsnare Says:
Still waiting
@thejjzz Says:
Rumor says iPhones still have the headphone jack
@robertmcgee4050 Says:
I *hope*, but hope is not a plan, that Apple will turn the Mac Mini M4 into a HomeKit Hub. Depending on speakers just seems kind of dumb.
@pokolopo987 Says:
The more I get to know about Apple, the more It reminds me of the goverment of my country, Cuba, they act like socialists do.
@Sr.Cardamomo Says:
Shout out to Ellis for the content of this video 🎉🎉🎉
@bobthemagicmoose Says:
There a great xkcd about this. A Linux guy asking a surgeon to add a usb drive... because enabling it is a software problem 😀
@srikanthmandela2511 Says:
Its called control, you are renting the device basically. They own it and can turn or off whatever they want, whenever they want.
@theworldreportbydr.rothschild Says:
Thank you very much.

@disclaimer4211 Says:
They haven't came out with a new home pod in a very long time so I suspect that the new homepod that's coming out might just enable this feature if not this one than the one that comes out after it.
@Phony-baloney8 Says:
I wonder if I have any secret parts…
@Relli-n4d6e Says:
This guy feels like a hostage situation ngl
@omoighejustice594 Says:
It’s a way they future proof their devices.
For the amount you’re paying it’s good to know certain features can be utilized without having to pay for a whole new device.
As long as it’s not google or meta using your devices parts to spy, I’m chill
@JakeLehenbauer Says:
Fun fact, that iOS update to enable Bluetooth on the iPod Touch cost $10. Ask me how I know 🤦
It was the day that solidified my stance on Apple.
@ChefAndyLunique Says:
I feel like that's sinister
@L1VE3V1L Says:
Sometimes the software just ain’t ready at release time. I see it as planning ahead.
@JustinOsborne1 Says:
iPod 2nd gen BT thing was what pushed me to Android. They literally gaslit everyone asking about BT on them and then a long time later enabled it.
Have been Android since, and haven't regretted it at all... though the first years was a bit janky lol.
@jnnx Says:
I’m never telling you, “I told you so”
@alexglezarch Says:
Pay for hardware that it's blocked and might get released or might not in the future at will of the developer is insulting and is enough to never consume from them ever again. But people don't care.
@rogertaboyle1 Says:
April fool?
@sj4349-x2f Says:
Its called software wasn't ready at launch.
@ShawiInvestments Says:
They were ON, just not for the consumer.
@budmonk2819 Says:
This is when the hardware is ready but the software or platform is still in development.
Or like Tesla that adds the self driving hardware on every Tesla, but you pay to activate it
@Autonomous_17 Says:
Same as the W1 chip came as a suprise that the iphone 5 had it when they announced the iphone 7
@fred.flintstone4099 Says:
This is the strength of Apple, their products are future proof, all iPhones have UWB and Thread. Google doesn't get this, only their Pixel 10 Pro have UWB and Thread.
@vanillasketch11049 Says:
Batterygate flashbacks 😅
@africannoobgamer933 Says:
Why are u telling us all of this
Telling us to be scared of iPhones?? Kind they have disabled spying accessories inside it?? So we should switch to Android?
@Gaz283 Says:
Ok
@Tenly2009 Says:
It *would* be weird if they stuck extra parts in our devices “for no reason” - but it clearly wasn’t “for no reason”. Just because *YOU* don’t know the reason, doesn’t mean there isn’t one… 🙄
@youtubewts Says:
Wish the sensors in the HomePod were more accurate though. A few degrees out from others.
@Parson2 Says:
Definately NOT used for spying😅
@merctaptobv Says:
Hm
@jamesleonard2870 Says:
Temperature and humidity data would seem useful if compared to health data feedback. It’s there for a reason
@Raven3one Says:
Also UWB in iPhone 11 wasn't used until they released airtag
@emmanuelr20 Says:
It is not ready... The have the hardware ready but not the software
