Do NOT buy an electric vehicle from Ford. They have very limited EV techs and it's can take weeks or months before they can fix your car, even if you're under warranty. And the worst part is, you have to leave your car in at the Ford service center during that time period. So you're left without a vehicle. Ford doesn't cover rental cars, even if you're under warranty.

An eco mode that gave the option of shutting down one motor and letting that axle "freewheel" would be amazing. Being able to freewheel and alternate axles would cause me to trade in mine for a new one. FANTASTIC TRUCK!!!!!!!

Ive owned this extended range XLT truck for 4 months, driven 13000 miles driving 600 to 800 miles each week. I haul material i love the frunk, fill it with luggage and cargo on the bed, it gives amazing range on city roads, amazing accurate range projection on screen that matches highway range, it has all the features, it is the best value when Ford offered this for 53K inckuding the immediate $7500 credit at the point of purchade. This vehicle delivers on every thing that this promise. My cold driving during march in michigan was 240 miles and summer driving in july is 290 miles on highway. It is awesome and ford has done a horrible job of marketing it. Id be a spokesperson for this all day everyday. My cargo use is space and about 500 to 1000 lbs and this vehicle handles it without range change like a champ.

Just picked up our 2024 XLT Ford Lightning F150 yesterday. There are certainly issues with electric but I would say that 98% of what our family needs a truck and a vehicle to do, it is PERFECT for.

What we want the electric truck is like an iPhone to mean. It's sleek, new, and user friendly.
What like an iPhone means. It has components that will break and can't be personally repaired. The truck will brick itself after a certain amount of time determined by Ford's profit projections. It costs way more than it needs to.
