I discovered this channel last year when I was looking for Raspberry Pi information, and stayed for all the other great information you have. Your format, your personality, and your content is very entertaining. Please keep up the great work.

The views are falling because you never finish anything, you just introduce something in one video then you're done with it. You must have ADD, Attention Deficit Disorder

Chris, as always - love the channel and your videos. Congrats on finally having the new studio space set up so well. Wishing you all the best and all success for many may years to come.

Hi Christopher, I enjoy your content. Would you consider doing a piece on the dark arts of networking ? I recently had the need to get peripherally involved in this area and the amount of jargon is mind bending e.g. DOCSIS, QOS, Subnet mask, DHCP, DMZ, DNS, DDNS, Port Forwarding, IPv4 / 6, IP Address, MAC Address, Wireless Modes, Channel BandWidth, MAC Encapsulation Routing, NAT.. Any illumination would be appreciated. Thanks

Thanks

As a huge Amiga fan I'm looking forward to that content Chris!
@TedTheTree Says:
Where do you get your ideas for new videos from Chris?
@Kenzo9063 Says:
Now I'm curious what car you drive? An EV?
@adityapandey7798 Says:
Did not know about the other channel, will check it out and will also share your channels with a few tech enthusiast friends of mine who consume this content religiously. Also is that matilda down there, nice to see her doing well. 😆
@chrise7058 Says:
The new channel sounds interesting and the 3d printer too. Carry on the good work and Happy New Year!

VR overview would be good, my dog Murphy bought me a Quest 2 for Christmas, I’ve 2 games now, Beat Sabre and Crashlands, Beat Sabre is supposed to be good exercise, the idea that playing VR computer games is good exercise and has both mental and physical health benefits is super interesting, could transform obesity and weight problems attributed to current games consoles. In Crashlands big spiders keep killing me, its a bit more scary than ZX Spectrum games were. I want to get my Solidworks CAD models into Unreal and see them/make animations in VR, I think VR could really help visualise designs for engineers like me or architects as well.

Would like to know what 3D printer you think is best for someone who's starting out, up to £500 bracket, what to look out for, what goes wrong with them in general etc.

I ran across a another Linux operating system you may want to investigate. I tried downloading the ISO but so far I couldn't get it to work. It suppose to make Windows 11 like a cheap imitation. It is Chinese and it is called Deepin 20.3.
@brownell10 Says:
The Christopher Barnatt touch always sits just right with me, beaten-to-death topics or obscure-er. DO do a 3D printer thing. I, for one, would like to hear some of your more industrial knowledge, too. Computing is extra sexy when it needs to survive Factory Inc.
@Codemantic Says:
These updates and explaining the future videos are why I have premium. I enjoy listening to them on my commute

I like how you've upgraded your desktop from the intro. Previously, it was running Linux. Then, in 2019, it was upgraded to Windows 10 Version 1803/1809 and now it is upgraded to Windows 10 20H2/21H1/21H2. Keep up the good work.
@plankalkulcompiler9468 Says:
A big fan here. I really love your content. I hope you will do more BSD reviews just like you review Linux distros.
@guildpilotone Says:
recent subscriber. please keep up the Linux series.
@JintySteam1 Says:
Yes, the blue gradient colour is a nice change, before you looked like a blast from the past from the 90's where you'd find random 16 bit videos on the internet.
@Realswagoverlord Says:
Love your channel man, you taught me so much, got me into the world of linux, you deserve way more subscribers and views. You are doing awesome :)
@petedawson8257 Says:

Loved this update Christopher! Would you be available to be a guest on my Robotics channel in the new year? I understand how busy you are so no worry if you can't - you're still awesome. Keep up the great work!
@paulmichaelfreedman8334 Says:
Will you be making videos about advanced AI en what's trickling down to consumers currently?
@truenexus1usa Says:
Good work Christopher. I'm enjoying the Explaining the Future channel too. I have about 60 channels in my YouTube list. A lot of them started out with no ads and the hosts said they wouldn't have them. Well years went by and now they ALL have some type of ads. But they're in spots where its not too distracting. They put them were there is a transition in the content. Now I've gotten used to it and I won't quit watching the content that is important to me, like ExplainingComputers.
@nevinkuser9892 Says:
Why don't I have any family members like this?
