Without any glasses, how does it show different image to the left vs right eye?
@TamMorris-u8w Says:
Stuff you see in the blade runner is becoming more of a reality ..
@karmaindustrie Says:
How is the 3d effect made? 2 separat images for each eye.. two glasses in the screen with a certain texture and moving? (Eye tracked)
@Volcaniced Says:
What bandwith do we need to use IT?
@Dominator3727 Says:
I think I saw this in mission impossible

So finally we are getting a fully working giant 4k Nintendo 3DS Emulator ? 😮 Google, please add another touch screen roght on the table 😮
@StubbyPhillips Says:
One reason the "cutoff for acceptable quality" for the masses is so low is that many people perceive the world around them in a relatively crude way. They remain oblivious to or uninterested in things that are important to people who are more engaged and aware. The "finer points" of many things are indeed lost on them.
@gamemusicify Says:
They just formally released this wish I had freinds for it
@ManuelBorrajo Says:
Nintendo 3DS has the same system to create the 3d effect
@EatSleepCodeRepeat_ Says:
the curved design is the cherry on top
@davidvandullemen3067 Says:
kinda like a 3DS screen but super high tech
@ianlaplante2184 Says:
Adult industry gonna love this
@bestCoder1877 Says:
Wow this is impressive.Wait until we can buy it and it becomes populer also you called mrwhosetheboss?
@takochiba9151 Says:
I am too drain bamaged by 30 years of regular computer use to understand the difference between 3D and 2D anymore
@TemptationsEnd Says:
You know what this kid of looks like? Those ollllllllllld fashioned “Madam fortune teller” effects but entirely digital. Like I never thought I’d see the day where we have true 3D much less 3D that can be translated through another camera instead of the source. Imagine how trippy this tech would be in a movie. Like yeah it would be a setup that only one person at a time could realistically use unless maybe done via VR. You could probably create a program that held all the depth data for the movie file in the background and moved with as you interacted with it via your movement to give this stereoscopic view.
@Mizuidk Says:
What’s the song in the beginning?
@Gio_Panda Says:
Put this on a laptop and you have a mega winner of a technology
@thelightwielder Says:
For something the size of a TV I don't see most people using this, maybe a computer monitor or a phone where it's typically just one person using it and it can replace an existing device.
@Luaces_ Says:
Google invented the tv
@joeydgraffix Says:
If movies were made with this type of screen/depth mapping that would be awesome.
@JoshWitte Says:
Found another use for all those Kinect sensors
@simeonellinger2064 Says:
Cool tech! I just wish anybody but Google was behind it. They'll pull the plug before it goes anywhere if we go by their track record.
@paristo Says:
So... Google Starline is same as Star Trek - The Next Generation viewscreen on the bridge... If someone has not noticed, all the filming of the opposition parties that are shown on the viewscreen, is made from the same angle as the camera is used on the bridge to look at them. So if camera was on the left wall, you looked both parties from same perspective at the left wall, and not from the front of the camera. It is exactly like this, where you can move around the bridge and see the opposite side as they would be behind that viewscreen on bridge. In the 1986 mockups of the bridge designs, there are all these very fancy ultra wide screen ones, that has taken in production only in recent shows like Picard and Discovery, where you have the 10-20 meters wide viewscreen on bridge that looks like a wall is missing on the bridge, as it isn't there, as it is forcefield. But in TNG they kept that viewscreen size narrow as it was then possible get recorded in 4:3 ratio for the scenes.

big 3ds
@EcoAku Says:
For the masses to adopt it, maybe the name should get a second thought? In French, "Stalin" writes "Staline". You can imagine I kept reading "Project Staline" and got epic dystopian images in mind...
@Amirichi Says:
What I'm wondering is, if you're looking at eachother's eyes, how does this TV achieve that? Normally when you look at a TV and the person on TV is looking into your eyes, it's because they're looking at the camera lense.. My brain cannot right now.
@osk9060 Says:
Imagine playing Doom on that thing
@sdfjsd Says:
Maybe they could make this into a TV. Like, when you are watching content, it is a regular TV, but then when you video call someone, you will feel like you are looking through a window and talking to them as if they were really there. Maybe Apple can do something like that with FaceTime and Apple TV?
@AB-cd5gd Says:
I can do the same with a hdmi cable and a big tv bro
@alighajari6105 Says:
Fucking amazing
@jerrykovis5417 Says:
It’s seriously sad that our society has evolved to a point where someone will spend $40,000 on some useless tech just so we can watch them unbox it.
@GordianThoughts Says:
I've used secret augmented reality technology not on the market. I just won't make a video about it
@michaelkillies1303 Says:
The Volume of this Video is decreased by 5.9 db. Your videos are way too loud. Just saying.
@philemonsugiarta3155 Says:
So... A 3DS with facetime.
@yeyu6207 Says:
Any guess on what is the genearative AI used by Google using just standard cameras? There are tons of solutions available. They said it is a breakthrough, which made me curious
@joaof.f.duarte4169 Says:
I'd totally pay for like a booth where you have these to video call with a loved one for when I'm not in the country or something like that... Just the feel that you get from feeling that that person is right next to you must be so great!
@ubacow7109 Says:
Im more interested in Google's projects caviar
@Exaltaweb Says:
I would love to work on designing interfaces for that experience! also things like videocall filters and a lot of things, but I think this will be also a great for realtime spectacule!
@youtubersdigest Says:
Would you with what you have now be able to mimic this for a video
@badrmoubile9219 Says:
This was the best plug for your own shoe ever
@dev8586 Says:
4:58 OMG
@YoungMoneyFuture Says:
I personally dont like this, I'd rather have a Samsung x Google XR glasses/headset
@yuxiang3147 Says:
All the computing is done in real time in a tiny chip behind the screen?
@aaaronburns Says:
Okay, hear me out: Audi's mixed AR concept but instead of glasses, the windshield has pixels and eye tracking and displays this type of left eye + right eye visual hack?
@umarashraf Says:
It could be used for real time 3d scanning and printing
@AzureViking Says:
This is super awesome. The first idea for this that comes to mind for me is for deployed military. When I was deployed we had sometimes had rooms where we could have video calls with our family over Skype. I could imagine these being setup for soldiers and their families to see each other while deployed
