This feels like it might be more useful if it were reworked into some form of PPE. Swap the headphones out for earmuffs to block out loud noises, and the air system is a PAPR (powered air purifying respirator) to give you clean breathing air in dusty or otherwise dirty environments. Most PAPR systems rely on some kind of sealing to the head/face though, so I'm a little skeptical of how effective something that has no seal to the face will be. There are some similar ones on the market but they have a silicone half mask that seals at least loosely around your mouth and nose.
