The novelty is that it doesn't require air, but it doesn't seem like it's durable. You can get a lot of high quality basket balls for far less than $2,500.
If you make a product to be the new meta... it has to be accessible. It looks and seems cheap.
You can tell it's a money grab because they are selling "limited editions".
It will never catch on. It doesn't have any qualities that makes a basket ball iconic. It doesn't seem to have any merit either.
