I have a solution, beside the verify check use a badge that states if you use telegram or not so if messages pop up like that people can scroll up and see if the badge is there or no and if it is they can see and verify it's your true telegram. Maybe that instead of a pointless verified check, I'm not sure the point of the check they have now or how that proves anything. Like what's it verifying? that person that stole the videos has a phone?

I'm having the issue of comments being removed by the A.I. just because it might contain a word, but it's not used in a bad way or wrong or hatful and is not necessarily bad. For example, I was watching a video regarding police searching a house and then trying to remove a person hiding in the central air vents. I commented " I would have used a pepper b$%b to get him out". And it turned out the police used pepper like 1-2min later and my comment was removed. I tested by putting it back up but combining the 2 two word like pepper-b&%b and it still insta removes it, it's been happening a lot and that's lame A.I. not even near kind of good A.I.... I mean what if I was trying to say I like your homemade bath-b&%b? removed

Two years later and it has only gotten worse. Many people are falsely flagged as spammers. More and more posts are being randomly deleted without any notification or explanation. It's becoming really bad. People start putting less time and effort into their replies, too much risk of them being deleted and their time wasted. As a result, the community is becoming less and less involved with the channels. 😡

There is no option to report features thatvnot work. Alike fb they create features for appearance only. Best youtube example: AUTOPLAY, you turn off so only see video went to see or show... But NEXT PLAY pops and sure enough moves on to next. And 99.9% are NOT even related to the search and watched video. Also, just like fb extreme effort in new ways for more ads. Also, block channels don't work...

You know, a year later, I think YouTube has actually done a fairly good job of cleaning up the comment spam. I've run ThioJoe's script on several popular videos just now and none of them have any automated spam. Now it's just manual spam from demented users. That's a significant improvement in my book.

It’s a complete mess at the moment- almost impossible to watch. As for Comments… Disastrous!! The only thing that is working is the Ads - which can now effectively prevent watching any videos on YT. Maybe they should simply call it the Rolling Ads App?
I am not against Ads. at all. But I don’t want to be locked in to Ads1/2- or more of !!- the time. So I am finding other alternatives a.f..a. p. where these problems( ID Fraud inc, don’t happen. Shame ‘cos YT did have a huge & loyal, enthusiastic Customer Base… Now we are Fraudster & Add fodder….

i have a theory that youtube is allowing the spam comments for the time being (2 years...) so they can cook up some new feature that will "solve" the problem. could be a way to implement ID verification or something else along the lines of it. they definitely see this as an opportunity to enforce something, they just need to think of what and how.

All I did was respond to a question about my father's immigration from Sighisoara to the UK in the late 40s below a video about Romania and that got deleted. The deletion aspect is really incompetent. The person was actually interested and asked me the question. It was a friendly conversation.

I huess Im lucky. Haven't seen many spam comments. The problem I've been having recently is trying to wriye a comment might freeze the amp. It might take forever to even load so I can type a comment. Some times the keyboard will just stay up there for minues at a time. I just have to wait for it to go away. With a screen about an inch wide for me to read comments. Thats in between the video screen and the frozen keyboard. Now I kinda wish I was just getting spam comments. 😢

Has anyone had this spam related issue?
Lately I've been getting messages from YouTube saying that I'm violating their spam policy. Basically it seems like if I comment on too many videos per day YouTube will detect that as spam. They will then not allow me to start any more comments until a certain amount of hours have gone by. Has anyone else had this issue?
