Elon owns approximately 48% of Space X. A company revolutionizing the commercial space industry and leading the charge in making human beings a multi-planetary species.
He also owns 23% of Tesla Motors. A company that probably needs no introduction. In the last decade, Musk and Tesla have come to dominate the Electric Car market.
In the last year alone, Tesla's Market Capitalization has grown from US$ 100 Billion in Jan 2020, to US$ 1.12 Trillion as of 30th October 2021!
This makes Tesla Motors, the largest automaker in the world in terms of valuation. Surpassing legacy companies like Toyota, Volkswagen, Ford, and BMW combined!
This made us think, what does Elon Musk have to say about his competitors and the future of the EV market?

EVs don't compete each other as of now. They sold all their production. The 1st phase is to compete and displace ICE vehicles and the speed depends on EVs ramp up.

you're missing, probably on purpose, the biggest competitor for Tesla not talking about Mercedes EQE and EQS.
Those models are the nearest in term of performance from Tesla's Models, with a much higher quality than Tesla for sure. Now the only argument, still important, for Tesla, is its torque power.

In my modest opinion to build at a scale and compete with Tesla you need someone with the caliber of Elon at the helm of your company. Elon has shown that he has exceptional qualities beside being a genius. He is completely dedicated to what his is doing. living at his work place, no vacation, working incredible number of hour ..etc.
