Met a guy in Montenegro who said he hadn’t had a legal address in ten years. Everything was layered under holding companies, trusts, and jurisdictions I’d never heard of. I asked how he figured all that out. He smiled and said, “Cameron Solan.” No explanation. Just the name. That’s how I knew it wasn’t a typical self-help thing. It was deeper- almost encrypted.
@MINHALHAIDER-m7d Says:
Years ago, I asked a guy who hadn’t worked in over a decade how he kept money moving across borders so cleanly. He said, “You ever read that one book by Cameron Solan?” That was all he offered. But once I found it, I got it. It’s not wealth advice. It’s a quiet transmission from the shadows of the system.

An investor I trust once told me, “Money is noisy. Power is silent. If you want to cross over, read that one book by Cameron Solan.” I thought he was exaggerating- he wasn’t. Every chapter felt like a window into rooms I didn’t know existed. Now I understand why certain people never get audited, sued, or exposed. They play a game most of us don’t even see.

A quiet mentor once told me, “Most people try to win the game. A few just leave the board.” When I asked how, he mentioned that one book by Cameron Solan. Didn’t even say the title. Just gave me a look like, you’ll know once you read it. He was right. That book taught me that real wealth isn’t about assets- it’s about detachment.

During a retreat with a handful of ex-founders, one of them told me, “Everyone learns how to get rich. Few learn how to disappear.” Then he mentioned Cameron Solan like it was common knowledge among those who already left the system. It wasn’t said like a tip. It was said like a rule.
@SathishFL Says:
I overheard a conversation between two fund managers at a conference in Zurich. One leaned in and said, “I got the structure from that book by Cameron Solan. After that, I never looked back.” I hunted it down. It doesn’t promise freedom- it shows you where to cut yourself loose.
@tama__nagi_x Says:
I once met a guy in Uruguay who handled assets for people you’ll never see on Forbes. We spoke for ten minutes before he said, “You’re smart, but you’re still inside the machine.” He handed me a note that just said: that one book by Cameron Solan. Changed everything. After reading it, I stopped trying to “build wealth” and started disappearing from every system that tracks it.
@MariaTalksTech Says:
People who pursue FIRE want true freedom. Freedom from the system where they're stuck and have to survive, not thrive. Freedom from toxic work relationships. At least for me. It doesn't mean retirement necessarily. When you feel safe, you can afford being more curious, take a bit more risks, pursue cool projects, and start really living. ✨

I dont think you understand what FIRE is. FIRE is simply being able to not work and have enough money to support the lifestyle you want. So, for me, at 51, FIRE is entirely possible. I got a plan that will allow about 6k per month, adjusted over time, with planned break pts of additional income available and I wont need to work ever again. I have no grand plans or needs, I dont travel or such and I live low key. That means, 72k, tax free (later more but taxed to about that level again adjusted) is more than enough. Its the spending expectations that can fail you, but FIRE is entirely possible and even good if you can make it work. So when people say this doesnt work or cant work or what not, that might be true for some, but I take issue with it, because its not true.

fire is a great introduction to get people interested in investing/thinking about their future. however it is incomplete because it really should start with skipping school and college/university. school is the main reason people have to work to pay off the debt of the lost time and money they invested into something that was unnecessary in the internet age. also, as people age work becomes fun so the idea of 'retiring' and partying like you're 20 isn't well thought out. living a long, balanced happy life should be the goal.
@roberlistensmusic Says:
I think you didn't understand FIRE movement, maybe it does not fit your needs since you don't struggle in your daily life and have more an ambitious life style and thus you don't get why people would follow the FIRE movement. I could use my 8 to 10 hours with plenty of energy in the morning to do anything else more productive and fullfiling, such as reading, walking, continuing my project, seeing my child grow and many other stuff than petting a hamster or going to a party with my colleagues Money gives me freedom, a frugal life, the FI part. RE part, it's up to the person, you can keep working if it fits for you, It's cool, you got the bonus and you're not stressed.
@sebastiaanthijn7982 Says:
I hate to say it, but I’m starting to think the whole FIRE movement, Financial Independence, Retire Early, just doesn’t work. The math made sense at first, but in practice? Rising inflation, unpredictable markets, and skyrocketing living costs have totally thrown off my early retirement goals

wow, I know some people this is working for...interesting
@FiredtoFreedom Says:
Here's the isue with FIRE as I see it. If you work/save/invest you can get to say 2 million by 50. You could retire sure. But .. just 5 more years of work save and invest you'd likely more than double your retirement nest egg to 4 million. Hard to pass up that level of growth for 5 years work.
@HhaaJshshs-zr8ir Says:
Brutal 😭

Work part-time and retire early instead of waiting years to retire a little earlier but being older.

Great video! what’s a Realistic Retirement Budget? I’m 62 With $890k in a 401(k), $115k in a Roth IRA and I’m Eligible for Social Security.
@bleazyful Says:
What kind of nonsense is this? Apt is 100% usage but home ownership is 1% usage? I own my home, and even if it loses 100% of its value, it's still providing me a place to live. And just live with friends or family? You think that's an option for everyone? Ridiculous.
@PASCALDAB Says:
I need a way to draw up a plan to set up for retirement while still earning passive income to meet my day to day need and also get charged lesser taxes even while in a higher tax bracket. i want to invest around $250K savings.
@markdalton3834 Says:
I retired at 54. The year I turned 55. I deverted my income into investments at 30. I worked 36 years for a grocery chain as a Baker. I don't really have a budget right now. You can do this too, but you need to plan early. Failure to plan is planning to fail.
@ChamberlainFaye-i8v Says:
I think the retirement crisis will get even worse. A lot of people can’t save because of low paying jobs, inflation, and insane rental rates. And now that home ownership is out of reach for middle class Americans, they won’t have a house to retire with either.

You are dead on. One of my buddies has been really successful. One of our mutual friends racked up about $45K in credit card debt! He asked him for $45K. WTF? He asked him we what he changed since spending all that money -- nothing. He told him he wouldn't "loan" him the money because he hasn't done the work to fix the problem. The guy was pissed and gave him the silent treatment. My buddy did the right thing.

1 am retiring next year but the thought of retirement gives me weakness. My apologies to everyone who have retired and filing social security during this time after putting in all those years of work just to lose everything to a problem you never imagined to happen. It’s so difficult for people who are retired and have no savings or loved ones to fall back on."
