I have yet to try a trading algorithm. I am an active trader that makes 15-25 trades a day, on average, and use a strategy revolving on selling index options premium. My concern with using algos is trade slippage. You could show me a strategy that is back tested and shows a hypothetical return of 2000%/year. If it makes 3000 trades a day, it might lose money when you are trading live and have to pay commission and the bid ask spread or don't get filled.................................

Interesting technology. Proper back testing is not cherry picking one financial instrument and seeing how the algorithm did this year. You have to use a wide variety of instruments across time spans of at least decades. I wouldn't put any actual money in without robust back testing.
