guys , if you just do gaming and you use your laptop at home, I recommend you just but buy a DELL XPS 15 or XPS 16 and if your budget was 1600 pounds (GBP) you could get the dell XPS 15 with 1 TB of storage and the intel I7 and I don't remember but I think it was the I7 gen 12 or 13. though rlly if you just do gaming just buy the MSI katana or ROG strip as they both offer great prices for going laptops (though they are quite bulky and the battery life is not very good plus its made out of plastic but its your decision overall).

had this just TERRIBLE. the internal sound had a buzzing. had a speaker replacement and it was still awful. luckily was in my one year warranty. the apple staff kept telling me there was “nothing wrong with it” and i was being “too picky”, until i spoke to the manager. she PERSONALLY saw my issue, gave me a replacement. and LUCKILY she gave me an m4!!!!! i’m so blessed. wish me luck it works guys!

I have this M3 for about a year now upgraded from the 2017 mid-June Touch Bar MacBook Pro, with the base standard model. Now having a 2024 M3 16GB and 512SSD and I am more than satisfied moving from the old Pro to the new Air. Especially using it for programming, coding, and some editing. I can recommend the any M-chip if you have anything prior to Apple Silicon.

I did get the 16gb, definitely worth it. Got mine on sale for $799 + a laptop trade in for $200, out the door for $599 + tax. SWEET deal!!!!

Dude stay in your own lane. You can talk about the features the price and give your opinion but when you start questioning apple release strategy you just sound ignorant. Balancing supply with demand has everything to do with release strategy because these new models don’t appear out of thin air. Manufacturing high tech electronics by the millions requires carefully planning years in advance.
