The display on iPad Pro is so good in harsh sun, i have both iPad Pro M4 and M4 MacBook Pro and iPad display is sharper and brighter outside, M4 MacBook Pro is excellent as well but dims more outside
@JumpY3 Says:
You gotta remember, most people who buy iPad pros use it for maybe 2 things. Artwork, so they need the screen size and procreate dreams takes a decent amount of processing power, it still crashes on my iPad 10, and 2, music production on Logic Pro or fl mobile. Nobody is going to (or should) buy one of these for YouTube. Maybe Netflix if ur rich, but if you don’t do these things, then the iPad Pro is just not for you. Buy an iPad 10 for $300 if you want to watch YouTube.

Watching this in 2026, and I'm still astounded that this iPad Pro is thinner than the iPhone Air.
@ellalogx Says:
I went to the store to see and touch it in person and yeah, it's ridiculously thin. Feels weird to hold lol but thinking that most people are going to use it (including me) with a case, makes it "okay". Great video!!!

Gimme a day of battery man...
@quizcanners Says:
I feel like laptops and MacBooks are in some weird area where they don’t have the power nor the stationary comfort of home PC, but also portability benefits of a tablet - something you can just pull out on the go and write with a pencil on the screen.
Laptop is like a downgraded PC which you can deploy in a coffee shop if you need to specifically type something with keyboard. Not draw, not watch or read - type with keyboard. You can also attach keyboard to tablet, so what is the point of laptops?

@cdc24111 Says:
The only thing that really amazes me about the iPad Pro is that, when you put it in reference mode. It is essentially the most color accurate consumer display to exist. I feel like they should have mentioned this in the release. It’s not really a useful feature for anybody other than someone mastering a movie or something but it is wild how color accurate the display is.
@Sniperwolf16-b4g Says:
I heard this iPad Pro overheats a lot
@jenavlogs11 Says:
I have the 13 inch ipad pro m4 1TB, i edit videos, write scripts, study, edit photos, watch videos, surf the internet and ofcourse draw when im bored ❤
@TheGaang Says:
so glad ipados26 is somewhat helping with this issue.
@filippakos277 Says:
does anyone know what app he's using for drawing
@Dino_Saurarius Says:
the fact that ppl are getting excited over 13 inches when i posess 15 inches and no one gets excited about that
@xiezhaoru Says:
for a moment, i was thinking of upgrading my ipad pro 4th gen to M4, then i saw IPADOS2026 coming, procreate is still procreate, 22layers vs 40 layers... I think I will think again.
@archyonyt Says:
Now the ipad air is heavier than the pro. Now that’s some heavy air in it 😂😂😂😂
@Yunalsenkitha Says:
Sp about the iPad Air isn’t there also a m3?
@twitch_tv_pat Says:
sounds like ipadOs26 will change all of this, it might need a re-review after 26 is out.
@ads3453 Says:
The new screen compared to the mini-led is hardly noticeable, performance is no different to the m1 iPad Pro for normal every day activity. But because they have made it so thin they have replaced the speakers with smaller ones and it now sounds crap compared to the old m1 IPad Pro.
@DropPCTV Says:
See I think if you have the M1, this isn’t for you, my 11-year-old son has an M1 so I told him getting him a new iPad Pro makes no sense. I just have to get a new battery for his because it doesn’t last long anymore, but I don’t have any iPad pros so for me it makes sense. I’m getting my son or I should say I already bought him the new Samsung ultra pad for his fifth grade graduation as he likes to download games from android and Apple and that was worth getting because his newest android tablet is pretty old. Point is not every releases is for everybody ,for me it was a good release.
@andrewgreen6974 Says:
I agree it’s still an iPad but for games it’s definitely better and can run high end games better
@snailairy Says:
All this tablet needs is root access, and an better files system and it'll be goated. But Apple are cowards cared of their own power.
@skuy2239 Says:
I just checked out the Apple Pencil Pro and it was not really what I was expecting.
It was heavy , not soft
I would say Technology is still far away from feeling like you're writing on paper.
@avijacobi7853 Says:
Best iPad and tablet in the world today. Well done Apple. Yes, I wanted it to be thinner. I want it to be even more thinner and lighter than that. Please make my wish come true.
@Jianfa88Tsai Says:
Billion dollar global insight. Eliminate laptop and MacBook Pro. Use Mac Mini or bigger cousins of Mac Mini with Studio Display at home (or Windows desktop variants). For travel or portability, use iPad Pro (future improved versions). Here is the pivotal point: To markedly improve the iPad Pro computing power with MacBook Pro, design a system with the integration of Mac Mini with Apple Magic Keyboard case to feed the max out computing power to iPad screen while still allowing for portability. Simply MagSafe the iPad Pro onto modified Apple Magic Keyboard case with thicker base to get OP computing power.
Most important point:
Redesign the Apple iPad Pro ecosystem to harness Mac Mini-grade computing power via an integrated, portable docking system—eliminating the need for MacBooks.
⸻
Supportive reasoning:
Mac Mini has far superior thermal management and power capacity than a laptop form factor, offering more cores, better GPU, and longer lifecycle at a lower cost. By docking iPad Pro (screen + touch interface) via a modified Magic Keyboard case that houses a Mac Mini or its silicon equivalent, users gain a modular, high-performance, and ultra-portable computing ecosystem. This design also supports e-waste reduction (no overlapping devices) and maximizes return on Apple Silicon R&D.
⸻
Counter-argument:
Thermal, power delivery, and software bottlenecks make this integration technically complex. iPadOS and macOS remain functionally distinct—limiting seamless app interaction and multitasking without serious reengineering. Also, merging a high-performance desktop-class processor with a slim portable interface risks battery drain, overheating, and user confusion in UI/UX expectations.
⸻
Perspectives:
• Creativity angle:
Enables mobile creative professionals (designers, video editors) to sketch or edit on the go, then dock into a “Mac-Magic Base” to access full rendering power—like a digital easel merging tablet fluidity with workstation strength.
• Legal/military/security angle:
Field agents or cybersecurity teams could carry lightweight iPads, then dock into Mac Mini bases at secure command centers to perform forensic analysis or control infrastructure—limiting sensitive data storage on mobile devices.
• Personal finance angle:
Reduces the need to buy multiple devices. Users get a long-term iPad and a powerful desktop, all in one ecosystem. Lower cost of ownership over time with better performance than a similarly priced MacBook Pro.
• Relationship impact angle:
Reduces digital clutter at home. One device per person for media, work, entertainment—streamlining shared tech usage, lowering conflict in device ownership, and supporting household productivity (e.g., parents use docked setup, kids use detached tablet).
⸻
Thought-provoking question:
If Apple (or any OEM) merges desktop and tablet computing like this, could it signal the death of the laptop as we know it—much like smartphones displaced point-and-shoot cameras?
@Daddy_chebz Says:
When you have money you just use this as a decoration 🤷

Pencil pro is overrated
@lrussell590 Says:

@LuciannaRemis Says:
Great video. I am a new fan of your channel and I love your vibe. Also, I can't tell the difference between the two Bottega bags, the kisluxs is close and cute, so that's enough for me. I will bring my friends to buy.
@timmydrawing Says:
I've always seen the pros as specifically for artists. That's the whole reason I originally got one, and why the new pencil pro is so sick. It's an incredible drawing machine. I would guess there aren't many other reasons to get it.
@BarzLightYearTechnology Says:
Yeah, the only thing they could do to make me upgrade from my 2021 entry level complete setup is to marry my iPad mini into a foldable iPhone. Release a iPad with MacOS lite baked in. Release a touchscreen iPadOS/MacOS hybrid Mac that can run all iPad applications and vice verse
@NavyCoyner Says:
My friend saw me carrying a kislux and joked that I was rich. I told her that was not true, I just bought the bag I liked for very little money.
@tyjones06 Says:
Also the new iPad mini only uses the Apple Pencil Pro
@jerryw1608 Says:
It’s actually a significant update, although it may not seem like it. The new pro screen is absolutely phenomenal and there’s almost nothing like it in regard to color, brightness and contrast. The new pencil pro enables creators to have an even more advanced and natural interaction with the device, and the spec bump makes sure it’s a future proof device to invest in. They even made the Magic Keyboard better with the function row on top.
I agree that software wise it’s got a lot to desire. I would personally love to be able to run Mac apps on iPad like a Mac can run iPad apps. I miss the full adobe package and Xcode…

i used ipad mostly for note taking..a12x model from 18 i guess, over the years good notes added features after features, still works but now it freezes at times and is heated when i extendedly use it, getting a used m4 ipad pro now, see you ipad again at 2030
@MightyRob1 Says:
In a way you could say the same thing for MacBooks too; more powerful CPU but still runs the same MacOS
