You can’t turn off photo processing which according to many people over-sharpens and overprocesses photos. You can’t always choose the lens because Google knows better. Sorry but a lot of the negatives seem to only apply when comparing the 8 to the 8a. If you look at the 8a on its own it is more then capable and $300 in my pocket is a big deal when I actually have to pay for something. Thanks for the info however, top quality as usual.

India Flipkart cheated recently in tactical way.
1. Ordered Pixel 8A in exchange of Pixel 7 (Pixel 7 rear camera not opening post update)
2.Also ordered Pixel buds got 999 in pre order with 8A
3. Initially pixel Buds got delivered
4.) Today when the courier boy came for exchange. Yantra app is closing after few tests.
5.) Already I have selected camera issue still yantra app unable to skip camera test and failing.
6.) Exchange got cancelled and Credit card amount got refunded.
7.) Here is the twist where 3999 got deducted as pixel Buds cost.
8.) Here none of the mistakes are with me. But still Flipkart unable to accept buds return due to their terms and conditions it since.
9.) as the exchange not happens 3999 got deducted.
10.) Even the issue with app we can't do anything.
So everyone should avoid exchange cheating running by Flipkart.

In the Netherlands the 8 and 8a are the same price. And the 8a has shit glass for a screen and shitty camera compared to the 8. And that bezel is horrible. There is no reason to choose the 8a in my case.
