@suminshizzles6951 Says:
Chris, this channel is such a joy. It is for both the young and the old alike. I am 52 but i still laugh at some of your gimmicks, like Mr. Scissors, for example. Lets not forget Mr Stanley.
@RonLarhz Says:
Budget pc (gaming) have always been searched for. Especially now with shrinkflation. Even old tech are still costly where I'm from. Unless they r ancient, less than 1gb stuff, it's not cheap.
@ShizukanaEntertainment Says:
Also, why bothering teleporting yourself all the way to the moon when you have a green screen and just could have reenacted it? Duh! :-)
@ShizukanaEntertainment Says:
Keep up the good work, Chris! If there's something I'd like to hear more about is how much of audio/music you produce on your own. Maybe this already has been explained? Must have missed it, if so. After all, almost 500 videos soon!
@julio4494 Says:
This man is wonderful
@zbiromax9228 Says:

@MaynardFreek Says:
What is the tablet pc you used to reference your notes about what you’re talking about
@robsin2810 Says:
Chris, sorry I can’t support you financially. Things are tough 👍🇦🇺🙏
@sgkonfetti Says:
Excellent video ! A+++++
@robertogzm Says:
you should do Respond questions from your subscribers for the 500 episode

@UnniG Says:
Thank you🎉 Awesome🎉🎉
@jeffford181 Says:
15 years of Explaining Computers and Christopher hasn't changed... Hmmmm I think AI has been well used? Love it.
@alexrowson9161 Says:
Thanks Chris, I enjoy checking out your videos.
@maxpolaris99 Says:
Chris is there a chance you could give us a rendition of a Johnny Cash song when you're attired as "The Man in Black" ? Perhaps something along the lines of A Microcontroller named Sue or Don't Take Your Raspberry's To Town. That would be very exciting indeed!
@sloo6425 Says:
Congrats, you'll definitely hit 1 mil.
@michaelcronin9895 Says:
I really enjoy your presentations, and your sense of humour. Well done, every time.
@RobinTheHoodedMan Says:
You are the entire source of my understanding of SBC's. I also like your coverage of Linux distro's. I like your stance on ads also. I just wonder if you could cover the topics of ML's and A.I. What can you accomplish as a solo student? Also are there any alternatives to buying a certain co's gpu in order to practice ML, such as AWS, (cost and availability) for example? Looks good for the future plans. you deserve your success!! Best wishes.
@sandwich-plays Says:
I love your content ❤❤❤
@waltrautengels816 Says:
I kew it all the time: Mr. Barnatt is actually Doktor Who!
@drivingdan55 Says:
You are definitely on the moon. I've been there and done that also. 😁
@mortarmopp3919 Says:
Regarding AI coverage, you could talk about the various applications that have incorporated some form of AI into their program.
@matthewgregory395 Says:
What about a computer\office update?
@1George2 Says:
For the 500th would be nice a history of the channel… how you got the idea, started, first experience, how it developed until today…
@markjones7109 Says:
Any chance of doing a video on setting up a dual boot system for older operating systems such as win xp, 98 etc. Cheers.
@markjones7109 Says:
I really like your straightforward presenting style.
@JamesMiller-ex3ff Says:
For your 500th video or 1millionth sub you should treat yourself to a nice new setup for video editing! Thank you for your content
@brucemunro8598 Says:
Strange to think that when first coming across your Explaining Computers channel a few months ago I was mildly irritated by your enunciation. Now when i hear it i immediately know that i am going to see and hear excellent, informative, well presented material. Long may you continue with your endeavours. Here's to a million subscribers very soon!
@richardpalmanteer Says:
Well, sounds like you have some good content coming to the channel Chris and look forward to the remainder of 2023. Take care and will be watching. 🤠👍✌
@peterfrisch8373 Says:
I have to ask, but what is the file system of the Zorin OS install? For the most part I am trying to use BTRFS on any new Linux installs. Yes, Raspberry Pis are not included.
@memineown4415 Says:
Yes, Tommy? You've got your hand up. Miss Anja, Chris has a devastator robot and a raspberry pi robot. Can either one self navigate like a robot vacuum cleaner. Camera inputs...neither one has lidar...only have rasperry pis...probably impossible, Tommy. Not enough computing power, Miss? Some of those vacuum robots have octacore CPUs, Tommy. Also, they send data to other cloud based computers in China. ...China...?
@cokeforever Says:
I think it is quality of content that you keep bringing to yt is what is really important. Keep doing that and one day you may become the true God of ducks ;-)
@damightyshabba439 Says:
Mate - you'll make the million. You're brilliant at what you do.
@williama29 Says:
would episode 501 be about cyber security and AI ?
@queen6201998 Says:
stop it
@grotekleum Says:
Very exciting!
@nutsnproud6932 Says:
Chris thanks for the video I watched this to the end. Thanks for the channel.
@lawrenceallwright7041 Says:
Looking forward to next Sunday. Love a good hardware build, especially getting around the little incompatible bits in an older case!
@edwardharding5677 Says:
Idea from the 500th episode: going to the Raspberry Pi Store in Cambridge.
@benitlu Says:
You mentioned about AI topic. most of the older people have little idea on how to use it and tips and tricks. maybe at least one video on that topic, please
@JLowe-uu8lr Says:
I looked for a case for the star 5 no luck ?=8)
@JLowe-uu8lr Says:
Ohhh cool star five !=8)
@MartinWolves Says:
Hi Christopher. I love your videos. But you haven't explained your teleportation device :)
@martinwilkinson2344 Says:
I too value the lack of adverts and drivel. Really looking forward to the Ryzen value build and dual booting videos. Personally, I'm more interested in tinkering with what I've got, rather than, for example, the latest SBC. But we're all different, which is what makes computing such a broad church. I think you are right to be only guided by views, not obsessed with them. If you don't follow your instinct and do some left field videos once in a while, you will never get a "surprise success". And I couldn't even begin to think of enough topics to fill a weekly video.
@awalden Says:
The "moon-jump" made me laugh out loud! (It also proved me wrong in my assumption that your bangs were to cover up a receding horseshoe-shaped hairline.) You totally rock the look! Keep doing what you do... I wish you continued success!
@sveinarnenetteland797 Says:
Enjoy the dry humor of this channel and of course its contents. One thing that I think could be a popular topic is why operativt systems seems to grow more and more resource hungry without really doing anything more than before. To me as a consumer it seems like the operating system developers and hardware manufacturers work together. In my opinion an operating system should be running in the background with as little memory and power need as possible. You can probably explain what is going on.
