I talked a non tech lady today during dinner. She was excited about the recent drama about Altman but she can't recall his name. She firmly believes OpenGPT is so advanced just cuz she found it is pretty useful for her. I viewed her IQ is average. That makes me thinking the whole drama has made average investor believing in the AI stocks. As any software engineering know how buggy software could be, so does AI. I agree that we are many decades away from the Skynet is real.
