Lotus used to be famous for building cars with zero unneccesary features 😂
@taneda97 Says:
Whats the point of it? What value does it give to the customer? Its another gimmick that adds nothing to the product besides “showing off” to your friends which after a while you yourself would forget about this “feature”
@UC8FDH Says:
It’s unreal engine cuz there’s no engine on an EV
@slfutureplace9790 Says:
can we do it reverse? like open the door with display
@hemanthkumar5438 Says:
Great, but pretty useless
@tafm3446 Says:
Sorry what? No Android auto?
@thefellowbreather Says:
Next feature: Drive the car using a controller
@tikkivolta2854 Says:
nice to look at but zero practical use
@VisualFarts-b1y Says:
Tesla does that as well
@orhungns Says:
İf its all analog sensors which is actually taking value of the position of door or windows and probably it has lots of sensors. Wait for 5-6 years and all.the sensors start failing.
@ravebellrock Says:
Jesus christ now the cars are running Unreal Engine? Fuck...never going to escape that dreadful fucking engine.
@equiparodrigosilva Says:
This comes already in any Tesla model since ages ago 😂😂😂😂 You can even see the tire moving in any direction when parking
@SoloSamtheMan Says:
Tesla does this…
@Budautosd Says:
So, like a Tesla?
@pogokrk8248 Says:
What a useless feature
@duckologism Says:
Lotus we want real fucking cars
@24packets Says:
My Tesla does that already ?
@nikolak25042000 Says:
I just need a map and music controls. I don't really need a 3d model of my car that reacts to what I do
@zzerxes Says:
How’s the privacy policy? Does this company use cars as surveillance devices? Does it report your driving habits to insurance companies? Does it collect your private conversations? Also: No manual air vents No manual A/C or heat controls No manual volume controls All make this a dangerous vehicle to operate at speed.
@YannMar Says:
Tesla already had this in 2016. Nothing impressive about it.
@mikeoxlong5928 Says:
Tesla does this. Even in the app it shows doors opened.
@recipeclub7112 Says:
Unnecessary features
@CheeezStix Says:
Unreal Engine 5? It must really suck lol
@PLACESNONDESCRIPT Says:
Saw this car a yr before release unbadged just parked outside a BQ store around QEQM red in color thought it was a chinese EV shud have looked at it keenly and take videos of it 😂
@jimsmartmumba6095 Says:
Screens In a car is never cool
@HoorainDesignerWear Says:
like byd
@warthog123 Says:
Does the car drive forward and reverse?
@im_vixx Says:
Cool stuff, but I honestly don't see the use, other than it's something to geek about.
@AJOne-c7e Says:
That's dumb and not useful so what a animation on a screen when you open the door what the heck dose that prove that's more like a party trick it looks good I like that car am really warming up to EVs but I would want the option to sync my Samsung Galaxy ultra and my iPhone pro max and if I want to search with Google or IOS that's better and reliable and familiar over that OPS the door opening on the screen has no purpose I wan to know the GPS is solid the E motors don't burn out in 200,000 miles I want good grip on ice and deep snow all wheel drive stuff like that not animation triggerd but a door opening but I really like this
@godwingeorge1880 Says:
What if you half open the door.. Does it half open too? Just curious..
@lancelotkhan4460 Says:
Innovation is when you don't even notice it and you need it, you want it. Who needs an animation to mirror real life? What problem is this solving?
@xjin4 Says:
Made in China ❤
@davidrobinson2323 Says:
Cars have done this for a long time, fancier models would tell you which door was open. Why do we need this? We can't touch our phones but our car televisions are getting more handsy and look at me.
@kapish34 Says:
Your audio sucks somehow
@chakibchemso Says:
idk how safe is that, cuz software for cars is not like sw for games. A game crashing is frustrating but a car infotainment system crashing might be quite unsafe?! For example there's a version of Vulkan called VulkanSC for safety critical usage (cars)...
@chiagoziechiagozie8165 Says:
Tesla does the same thing
@GarryReyom Says:
My BMW does this too
@Dawar55 Says:
What about the mountains at the back, and what if someone farts
@chehadeyoussef97 Says:
Who cares
@GodwinEl-grand Says:
Why will leave such a beautiful UI for Apple or andriod auto terrible UI
@Doragon86 Says:
Why? Adds literally nothing to the driving experience and removes even more knobs from the car making it more dangerous to use in motion. Dumbass marketing making it to production at its finest
@holmespj Says:
Tech surge out of control. Bring back vehicles with quality materials.
@-Good4Y0u Says:
Isn't Tesla already doing this?
@GraemeMacDermid-tp Says:
Is this lame content really by MKBHD?
@GraemeMacDermid-tp Says:
So if I'm opening the window or opening the door, but I'm not sure that the window is opening or that the door is opening, then I can check the image on the centre screen. This is a game changer.
@NoahBuehler Says:
Why would you want that. This jusg seems a waste of resources. We need cars that are efficient, repairable, affordable, have a big cabin but as small as possible on the outside so they take up less space on the road and when parking.
@cyberducc Says:
How is this helpful at all?
@geztaylor Says:
Brilliant, but who cares once you have played with it once?
@roberthemsley2 Says:
Isnt it what Tesla have had for years?
@Spankanoid Says:
How’s the Traversal stutter?
